Your question was: I have 100 plus domains for sale,is it better to use Godaddy or Sedo ?
I would re-counter with $1 more than your initial bid, and the comment: "I think this is a sufficient counter offer, shall we close this deal now?".
Justin..
Domainers never fail to amaze me.
So the current sentiment is such.... Now I feel that gemstar's name is reason'ably price'd.
(j/k)..
A $60 offer is generally met by a high-counter offer even if the name isn't worth that much in wholesale value; $60 is considered a lowball, largely because of the pervasiveness of the bid, even on low/mid quality names...
Meaning of RVOD.
"retinal vascular occlusive disease (RVOD)".
Maybe it's an eye guy..
You guys should hang out at ebay more often. 1 million for rvod.com seems like a bargain. You should ask the dude selling HornyGeisha.com for a million ("for cheap!") and three Halo3 TM names for 5 million. Those are the guys who know the real worth of a name.
RVod.com is a 10 million dollar name any good day. For 1 million, it's a bargain price...
RVOD is not such a great name .... And the minimum offer on sedo is $60. I would have accepted it, since I have some domains for sale at similar or lower prices.
But anyway such a counter offer is ridiculous. If that is the price expectation for a domain, than do not put it on sedo...
Maybe thats what they beleive it is worth ...if you think thats scary check this ! http://marketplacepro.moniker.com/se...01-1000000.99/.
Numbers for.
$2,000,000 BUY NOW.
Hmmm.
If those go for $2,000,000 then we're all multi millionaires.
...
Thank you for the great link.
Somehow... I feel so bullish on all my names now... be it .com or .mobi.
Thanks..
You do know I was joking about the multi millionaire part.
...
Well... (few/some/most?) domainers like to stay in their own illusion... guess I am 1 such hehe..
This is why comps in most major markets (real estate, domains...) are based on sales, not on asking prices.
As for the Moniker marketplace, my sales rep suggested that I list prices close to a million for my domains. I know they won't sell for that, but hey... "he is the pro at this", so I listed a few at his suggested prices. No sales yet at those prices, sigh.
Marc..
I think you could potentially get that much for some of yours from what I've seen.
I'd be happy as a Pig in S*** to sell all my 250 names for 200K.
...and they're mostly generics !.
...
2046worldcup.com - $1,000,000.
21gctt.cn - $1,000,000.
Anybody fancy these? 2046 world cup isn't too far off. And I have no idea what 21gctt means..typo of 21st century?..
Well I don't really fancy them in particular.
However it gives me hope for my misspelled, mistranslated.
.com's that don't mean anything, and probably never will.
Of course I'm kidding, I'm not THAT new..
No, it's not a million dollar name. Maybe to them it is, but not to anyone else..
