Got a question... I am wondering about Nutrisystem products.? Many thanks for any answer or 2. My 2nd question... My Husband wants to go to Applebee's Friday when we're out shopping. My fault, I redeemed some points somewhere and got him a $25 gift card. After reading the nutritional info looks like I might be able to order a lettuce leaf...

Sigh......

You could maybe get away with ordering a small icewater. LOL..

I think even black coffee would be a bad choice...ugh..

If it were me, I would get the 7 oz sirloin (and not eat all of it) and get a garden salad with no dressing (bring your own) or the Grilled Shrimp & Island Rice and not get the rice..

They do have seasonal veggies to order also...

Have you looked at their "Under 550 calories" menu? I have ordered off of that before-calorie count is a little high but I usually count it as my afternoon protein/fruit and skip the afternoon snack that day. YOu could also count it as a dinner and then for your dinner eat a lunch. Also, look at the add ons like cheese to some of the entrees and ask them to leave it off. Eating out is hard wherever you go but I find Applebee's to be easier than some. Just my thoughts. Do remember there will be lots more sodium so drink extra water!..

I get the 7oz sirloin from the Under 500 or whatever menu. Instead of the potato, I ask for steamed veggies. When the steak arrives, I cut it in half to take home for another meal...

The grilled shrimp and rice is only 370 calories, so that's a good dinner/veggie/fat replacement amount of calories..

The 7 oz sirloin is only 250 calories. So you still have a veggie serving to add, so a small salad or veggies would be great to add to that..

Thanks for all the good suggestions. I haven't eaten there in ages, I prefer Ruby Tuesdays. I found lower cal food items there than some of the others. Hubby prefer's O'Charleys, but it's as bad as Applebee's...

O'Charleys gets me with their rolls. I can't resist them, so I just stay away!..

Looks like a couple of the soups might work...black bean or chicken. Love both of those...

Actually, those are too low in calories. 190, 110 cals. For dinner,Nutrisystementrees are around 250 calories, plus you get 45 cals fat and 50 cals veggies. So 350 cals for dinner would work better if you include lots of veggies or salad in that number...

This will be for lunch and I expect I might chose one of the salads....maybe...

For lunch we get about a 150 calorieNutrisystemmeal, 100 cals of protein, and 60 cal salad, so you can have something about 310 cals...

Thanks Karen!!.

I was looking at the Weight Watchers Steak and Potato Salad as a possibility....

I'm so sick of being fat that I don't want to do anything to mess with my weight loss. I believe they call it obsessed..plaese forgive me...

For the soups, they probably do not offer every soup everyday. So just be prepared with a back-up plan if you are thinking of getting a soup item...

For Applebee's for lunch, you could get something off the WW/under 550 cal menu, and then have youNutrisystemLUNCH entree at dinner time...just a thought..

Thank you all for the suggestion! Gave me plenty of options!!.

I do forget about meal switching...excellent idea...

I'm not sure what you conisder bad because I think Applebees has one of the most diet friendly menus I've seen in a long time. They have a lot of choices for under 550 calories. This includes the 6 items they have listed that way and also the ones marked as Weight Watchers items. We've been going there weekly...
