My question is How to launch an ActiveX control from an HTML page over Verisign SSL WITHOUT error box? Many thanks for any response. Another question on my mind: Hello all , sorry to sound stupied.

I was wondering how I can change the permissions on my oscommerce Verisign site , any ideas?..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably can answer it..

Ah right I'm not the brightest with all this, what you mean by ftp?..

It comes up with this when I try to upload a file, " Error: I can not write to this directory. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/busyfing/public_html/"..

You will have to change permissions of the folder or file..

Right click the folder or file and go to attributes chmod..

Still confused :S when I right click the folder I get the usual options such as ... open link , open link in new tab , ect:S..

Ftp is a geeky way of saying file transfer protocol..

You can change permissions of files and directories using an ftp client such as filezilla..

You can also change permissions using your Verisign hosting company's control panel, ask them how to do it..

You could also load a contribution that allows you to set permissions from your shop admin area..

HTH..

Ryt werer going somewhere , ive got that filezilla , what I have to do on that?..

Never used filezilla I use flash fxp but have you put your ftp details to login to the server yet..

Nope I dunno how to use it :S it asks for "host " "username" "password" and "port" what I put in there..

You would of had all the details off your host in an email..

Thanks for all your help , I have a username a pword but I am a bit confused with the host and port part ?

Port I would think is 21 and host or ip will ftp.yourdomain.com or what ever yours is.
