Got a question, hope someone can answer... How to get a Verisign SSL Certificate for website? Hoping for any response. My 2nd question... OK, so I updated the usps mod a few weeks ago and now there's a couple of errors occuring. It seemed to work fine in the beginning, but now there are 2 errors:.

First Problem:.

I have Best Way shipping - flat rate.

And the USPS Priority and Express options will show up, too (for more $ of course).

If one should happen to pick Priority (not express), Express shows up by default in the cart..

If Best Way is chosen, then Best Way shows up in cart and that's fine..

Second Problem:.

Item is placed in cart, shipping chosen, credit card entered and order placed.. then a pause and this error:.

2013 - Lost connection to MySQL server during query.

Delete from customers_basket where customers_id = 'XXX'.

[TEP STOP].

XXX being the customer number. What gives?? I just tried with paying by PayPal and the same error shows up on the.

Checkout_process.php page..

I have a tester login created, but no tester credit card #, so not sure if it's usefull, but one can login with.

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could answer your Verisign question..

I hope I'm not replying to myself here, but replying to the last person that helped me, I've not been able to fix this situation, either of them, nor with the help of Godaddy. So if anyone has any other ideas, please let me know...

Same exact problem as Number One - Best way, per item, and other works perfect but any use of the USPS module will create the default to "Express" shipping. Does anyone have a suggestion or is the belief that the problem could still be located in USPS calculations at USPS..

USPS fix.

Overview: Download most recent version of OS commerce find the 2 USPS.php files and update your files..

Regarding your second problem:.

Http://dev.mysql.com.../gone-away.html.

The query looks fine and shouldn't be taking an extra long time to execute..

It's possible that your table needs to be optimized or cleaned up. a corrupted index could cause the query to start looping, causing the timeout. either that, or your host has a very low timeout value set for connections to the server. you might talk to them and see if they can help you resolve the issue...
