My question is: How to find Go Daddy promo codes for hosting?.

My 2nd question is: Hi All,.

I have backordered a name a NameJet.

It doesnt say in the whois that anyone has managed to register the domain.

On their site it says that it is 'Pending Auction'.

Does this mean that it is pending the catch, or that it is definitely caught by them?.

Jiblob......"Pending Auction" means that all those NameJet members that backordered that HostGator will be waiting for it to move from the "My Backorders" list to the "My Auctions" list. From there you will compete with other members who backordered the domain.

So you had it backordered, now it is moving to auction. If you are the only person who backordered it then you will get it once it moves out of "Pending Auction" status. It can hold in the "Pending Auction" status for quite some time...

Thanks for the reply. Do you happen to know how long take to start an auction, or how long it takes for the site to acknowledge it after a successful capture?..

I don't anymore b/c honestly I have not seen a good HostGator at all at Pool for a year or two and I don't use them anymore. That does not make sense...... once it says "Pending Auction" they all go to NameJet's "My Auction" list.

Correct me someone if I am wrong..... but I have never seen that...

That's what I thought, I thought it was rather weird that it came up with 'Pending Auctin' on NameJet, but it had been caught by Pool... rather strange indeed..

Those domains can be caught from Pool, snap, or NJ. If you check NJ's FAQ, it is written that if you want a HostGator so much, then bid more than minimum.

If you bid minimum at NJ and another domainer bid at Pool. Then, you will have %50(fewer or more that depends) chance to get that HostGator caught by NJ. But, if you bid "minimum + some amount" instead of minimum, than NJ take it more seriously and the chance to get that HostGator caught by NJ will be %(50 + x), where x>0...

Thanks for the correction..... that is good to know.

Somehow I have never seen it happen...
