I have been on the Women Basic Plan 4 2 mos. food definetly does not taste diet but losing weight very slow. Laterly have been getting disgusted w/ myself esp. the time of the month. Any advice on how 2 keep focus instead of so call binging/munching on fatten foods. Lost 10 lbs so far probably gain some back scared 2 weigh..

A primary motivator of mine is to NOT WASTE the hard earned money I spend on this program!.

When I feel the urge to stray, I always visualize myself AFTER the binge. I ask myself if I am GLAD I did it, was the few moments of pleasure worth it, or do I feel crappy, mad, disgusted, discouraged? I KNOW if I cave in I WILL REGRET IT! And I WILL FEEL crappy, mad, disgusted and discouraged..

I cannot remember ONE single time I have over eaten in the past that I was happy that I had done so..

By picturing ahead how I will feel, I have really conquered the urge to cheat..

It has even gotten a lot easier during PMS, which used to be a really hard time for me..

Now I don't even consider it, or miss it. Instead I relish the fact I am three pounds from my goal...

You can also try breaking your meals down to a lot of mini meals. That way you are eating and keeping your blood surgar regulated better and I think that helps to keep me on track during the worst of the PMS. Knowing that I have something planned to eat coming up in just a few minutes makes it easier. It's also a time that I use the diet hot chocolate mixes as a free food. It helps to satisfy my chocolate cravings, giving me a little more chocolate on that day, but still keeping me on plan. SF chocolate sauce over some of my fruit is often another choice I make when TOM comes to call. It's the same reasoning...

I feel for ya Cota. The past 5-6 years whenever I PMS I get ravenous hungry. This past one was particularly hard..

As boring as it sounds I munched on carrots, drank a ton of water ate Skinny Cow or Healthy Choice Fudge bars at night to satisfy my sweet craving and one night had a chicken breast. I actually lost weight once the TOM weight came off. It sucks!.

This has been a tough month for me too. I've been eating more to the 1300 calorie end this week, but still with in the plan. I drink hot tea...something with a honey or sweet flavor to it but I don't add sugar. Believe it or not, it works for me to get over any type of food craving I have. But let's just say, I've gone through an entire box of the stuff this week!!! I also keep a HUGE bag of baby carrots in the fridge during this time to satisfy the crunch cravings. Maybe these tips are worth trying?..

A packet of Truvia in ice tea is also very sweet and satisfies a sweet craving for 0 calories.

Before Nutrisystem I didn't care for sweets that much, but I love the taste of the stevia plant (truvia)...
