How many times a week do you exercise? For how long?.

What do you do?.

I currently go to the gym 4-5 times a week and take a hot iron class (barbells), spinning class and work the circuit. I hope I can keep up with this schedule. It's exhausting..

If any of you walk, do you find it a good form of weight loss and how much do you walk?..

I go to the gym about 4 times a week. Monday I have boot camp, Tuesday, I walk around a park(1 mile briskly) Wed. I do the treadmill or eliptical ( usually Im so sore from Monday it's all I can do) Thursday-Sat. the same. I just joined this month, and am still nervous about getting out on the machines. I keep reading that the machines really dont do anyone any good.

And I need to talk with a couselor, b/c I have been doing this since the 2nd week in March and I have only lost 1 pound. so that is VERY discourageing, I may not be eating enough. but I like how I feel after I work out, and I think I can tell a difference in my waist. We'll see Im going to keep at it though. I am giving myself 3 months.

This gym only has this one boot camp class, and I have never been to a class before, I have always tried to do it on my own, and of course failed, or I would not be here. so if I am not losing in 3 months Im going to switch gyms to one that has all kinds of classes that is included in the membership.

I really enjoy the boot camp and think I would enjoy other classes. We'll see..

I go to the gym a minimum of 5 days a week. I'm in a challenge at the gym so I've been doing much more than usual (can't wait till it's over)..

I go in the morning and go on the treadmill or elliptical 45 - 1 hr. (despise it really- so boring!!) At night I go back and take either a muscle class/kickboxing/step/zumba...

I would change gyms. I love classes so much! They're fun, you meet great people and the time flies by. Plus you get a good workout...

I walk/run on my treadmill for about 45 minutes, and do weight lifting M-W-F. On Tu-Th-Sa I do Jillian Michaels' yoga video. Sunday is a day off ...

I'm doing couch to 5 k, so I run 3 days a week and usually bike on my off days. I try to make it to the gym at least 6 days a week, sometimes I do 7 sometimes I do 5 (or 4), but it really depends on how I'm feeling. I can't wait for the pools to open here so I can swim on the days I don't run!! I used to walk every day, and I think it helped my weight loss, but it aggravated an ankle injury I have too much...
