Got a quick question: How much is it to be on Nutrisystem? Thanks in advance for any comment. Another quick question... Here I have been on Nutrisystem for 10 days now, losing 10 pounds, but feeling pooped and just not spry at all. Read on another forum this morning about RMR/BMR and calculated that my rate should be 1925 calories. Well, I have been averaging about 1250 calories a day, so in the article I read, is that I am starving my body, thereby not accomplishing my goal..

Since I did not receive any instruction booklet, etc., with my order, I was confused (??) on just what I should eat besides my Nutrisystem food, and therefore I was not filling in those block of the meal with much if not nothing..

I called a Nutrisystem councelor this morning and she explained that indeed I was not getting enough calories by not including those items, and she explained in pretty good detail on just what I should be doing to correct that. So, I feel better now that I understand it, somewhat...

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can help you..

The Men's program targets around 1500/day. It's a good starting point, and works well for the vast majority of guys, but everyone is really different and we each have our own "sweet spot" for most efficient losing, IMO..

Thanks Chef and Gordon.............well the calorie count should be 200-500 below that RMR, which would be around 1500, like Gordon said. I know I felt better the next day after having a 1400+ calorie day compared to like yesterday at 1000. Wonder what my blood sugar was? Guess I should go get the wife's "needle kit" and find out..

Just had lunch using the provided guide, and I feel stuffed. Infact I felt stuff after the salad before I had the main course of that Pasta Brocolli paste, which was just OK. That lunch was 335 calories or so..

Anyway, like most here, learning how to eat all over again, as the previous 68 years were all wrong, ha....

Holy MickeyD's, I feel overly stuffed after dinner using the correct guidelines per my conversation with Nutrisystem folks this morning. Total Calorie count for the day ended up being 1518, which near the mark they want me to be, but feel like I have cheated. Test will be my weigh-in on Monday morning...

Hi Robert........well, it was 230, so didnt lose nor gain this week, which is probably correct since I have been eating correctly now since talking to the folks at NS, and maintaining +- 1500 calories per day. Still, even at that, I am not hungry, which is amazing since I use to partake the FF joints almost everyday for lunch, and today, since I was away from home for my lunch, I did take a lunch bar with me and then stopped at Carl's Jr and had their Chicken Salad with FF dressing. Moved the cheese so I wouldnt cheat on that...
