I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably know..
Yes, we poor women only get one dessert and no carbs. You guys have all the fun. Not sure if they told you on the phone that you can sub a dairy/protein and fruit for a dessert/snack in case you run out..
Also, these are great subs for the desserts - stats are very close to the Nutrisystem "snickers" bar:.
I find them at Walmart and at some of the drug stores in the aisle with the diet supplements. Just be careful reading the packages. Snickers just changed the label and the only flavors that fit are the following two (out of 5 in total):.
Crunchy dark chocolate - 150 cals, 4.5g ft, 9g sugar, 9g protein.
Crunchy honey & toasted almond - 150 cals, 4.5g ft, 10g sugar, 10g protein.
These used to be labeled Snickers Marathon NUTRITION, separate from their Marathon ENERGY and PROTEIN bars. Now they put them under the Energy label so you have to read the stats closer..
Old label in case you still see:..
Hey, Woman! Can you get those at Costco? I've been eating tons of EAS product because my wife gets everything dirt-cheap though work (Zone Perfect bars. protein powder, recovery drinks, pre-workout drinks ...). But I loves me some Snickers!!..
Don't do it Sean, it's the path to the dark side!..
Not sure Sean. They don't taste or look like Snickers bars. Think of a flattened rice krispy treat with a layer of caramel and chocolate on top. They are good, just not a chocolate nougat bar...
