Got a question... How many points can I eat on Nutrisystem? Thanks in advance for any response. Another question on my mind: I have never been a vegetable eater. I thought that I would try V8 juice for a serving some days, but the taste is just not what I had hoped. It seems that my Mom used to add something to it - but I am no longer able to ask her what that was. I considered trying the V8 Fusion that is supposedly a serving of veg AND a serving of fruit, but then I am afraid that I won't get enough food to keep me from being hungry during the day..

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to help the taste?..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can help you..

I've always found that anything spicy is more satisfying and tastier...I add ground pepper and a dash of tobasco sauce also!..

I personally use Frank's red hot in low sodium V8 and just down it. The Frank's kills the aftertaste for me...

V8 makes a spicy hot flavor. Its really good, but there is a lot of sodium (1070mg/ serving). I like the low sodium with some hot sauce, close enough..

I LOVE the V8 Fusion Pomagranite Blueberry juice! It's probably not strictly Nutrisystem approved, but I just can't stomach the regular V8!! I try to limit it to one 8oz glass per day (at most). If you just want to try it, they sell the small single serving containers (although they are NOT single don't drink it all) in the cold sections of the stores, etc..

Good Luck!! : )..

You could maybe use that as a fruit, but not a vegetable serving. Well you.

, but it's too many calories and carbs to be a veggie...

Regarding the V8 Fusion - here is a post from the dietitian:.

You can use 1/2 cup of V-8 Fusion as one fruit serving. Each fruit serving has about 15 grams of carbs. The juices generally do not have as much fiber as whole fruit..

Good luck to all.....

Are you drinking the V8 low sodium type? I hope so because the regular V8 is so packed with sodium that you can't and don't need it on the Nutrisystem plan. If you are drinking the low sodium type then what you are missing is the salt! I never drank V8 before NS. I hated the stuff. I too have a problem with eating all of my vegetables. Three weeks ago I started drinking a can of low sodium V8 on a daily basis. Within one week I was used to the taste.

Give it a chance. Your taste buds just may learn to like the flavour, not to mention the fact that you will be able to drink your veggies versus eating them..

Good luck to you!..

Have you guys seen the calories though. The veggies are next to nothing compared to the juice. I know the feeling though, I don't really like vegetables either. Tabasco has a sauce called Chipholte. That might taste good added to the juice. My husband likes to add worchestershire and hot sauce...
