I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..
I like them over cauliflower.....tastes like cheese. I like the souffle idea will try it..
Love them.....I just finished that for lunch. I eat it plain. Just goes to show how everbody's taste buds are different. Always been my favorite..

The ONLY way I like them is to make a souffle with them. I beat three egg whites until stiff (lunch protein) and fold the powder into them and bake at 350 about 15 minutes until golden on top. I LOVE this but don't like them any other way. If you have any more of them, try them this way.</end quote></div>.
That sounds great- but what do you bake it in? I don't think I've ever made a souffle before..help lol.
I like them, but the cheesy potatoes with broccoli are better!..
I take a small baking dish and spray it with Pam really well or it will stick...
I just measured that dish I use, it is a casserole that holds 4 cups. It is perfect for this souffle. I hope that helps..
By the way, I do the same thing with the scrambled eggs for breakfast. When it is done I top it with a piece of ff cheese...
I really like the whipped sweet potatoes- and the cheesey broc. ones too- I eat them w/ a veggie burger or Smart dogs- as stated before, everyone's got their own tastes- but I really like them-..
I love the other potatoes with cheese and broccoli, but not the sweet potatoes...
I think there was a bad batch of sweet potatoes about a month ago. Because before that, I loved them, they were a favorite of mine. Then last month, they changed - they got darker, more watery, and more bitter, and really smelled and tasted bad. I never got sick, but something was wrong with them. I think they're better again now, but I'm afraid to try again. But I think there was a bad batch, if you're willing to give it another go...
I love the Whipped Sweet Potatoes. I had them last month and they were fine and I have been having them this past week every day for lunch and they are delicious..
I also absolutely love, love, love the Cheesy Potatoes with Broccoli. I could eat those every day for lunch. Basically I do eat those every day for lunch when I am not eating the Whipped Sweet Potatoes. I make a large salad with them and I have a great lunch that I totally look forward to every day.....
I do agree! They were awful! Just not my idea of good food!.
My stepmom loves them though so I'm sending her mine!.
It's funny how everyone's tastebuds are different..
Yuck. Thought they smelled bad then made the terrible mistake of tasting them. Spit it out and threw the whole thing away. Maybe there was a bad batch cause alot of people seem to like them?..
... or does the cheese cut the sweetness. I've been hesitant to try them, because I don't like mixing sweet stuff with salty stuff...
I'm so glad I saw this post. I made them a couple days ago and they never set up, even when after I microwaved the bejezus out of them. It was the consistency of soup! I guess I'll try another batch......
I had the same problem. They were just a soupy mess. I added some Laughing Cow cheese & that didn't help. I am also interested in a way to cut the sweetness..
I didn't like the sweet potatoes or the homestyle potatoes that much by itself so I thought up this last night as I have 4 more batches to finish. This is how I jazzed up the whipped sweet potatoes for lunch today. I prepared the whole thing last night and put in a microwave-safe container..
NS Sweet Potatoes Shepherd's Pie.
1 Nutrisystem sweet potatoes w/ cheese (prepared as directed).
1/2 cup of frozen mixed vegetables.
1 cup sliced mushroom.
1 boca burger (chopped up in my mini-foodprocessor).
1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth.
1. Spray the pan with PAM and cook the mushroom..
2. Add in the mixed vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated (= 1-veg).
3. Add in the boca burger (= 1 protein).
4. if the mixture looks too dry, add in the low sodium chicken broth.
5. Put the mixture in the container, spread the Nutrisystem sweet potatoes on top.
Since I am taking this for lunch at work, I just nuked it back to hot. I will probably try broiling it if I eat it at home. I am going to try another batch with the Nutrisystem homestyle potatoes...
