Quick question... How many points are you allowed on Nutrisystem? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. My other question... Welcome to March everyone!!.

With Spring right around the corner, we'll all have to come out of winter clothes hibernation & actually wear clothes that we can't hide under!.

Let's start this month w/a Slow Loser's Challenge! If you want in, say so. Let's see how much weight we can lose by the end of the month. You can set your own goal - we're not going to set an unrealistic goal for everybody..

My goal is to lose 8 lbs by the end of March. That is lofty for me, I know based on past performance but I am excited to be trying the new core plan with half frozen food & I'm optimistic that will affect my weight loss for the better..

If we all meet the goals we set, I will personally send you each a small reward for making goal!.

So, who in our little family wants in?..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can help you..

I'm up for the challenge Jenn!! I would like to drop 5 lbs. by April 1st. Let's do it!!!..

Eight pounds sounds a bit much - but for myself I would be happy with losing another 4 pounds by April 1. DH and I are going to Atlantic City for four days in April and I would really like those 4 pounds gone just in case I add a pound of two while there. Mind you I am not planning on a gain but I'm just being realistic...

Finally got on the scale after 3 weeks of avoidance...up one pound. I want to get rid of it before I go on vacation next month...

Hifor some reason it took forever to find this thread..

I would like to lose 3 lbs by 04/01. I'm putting it at that number but would really like to be down 4.5 lbs. Weight loss has slowed again so will keep it low...

Hey, up only 1 lbs after 3 weeks.....that's awesome!!! I'm sure you will do fine when you are on vacation...

Hi Jenn.

I'll rise to the Challenge 3 lbs by 4/1. Let's go!!!!!..

Sooo glad I found this group. Started back onNutrisystemJan.2011Weight.

Coming off really slowly this time. Really love reading your posts. How.

Do I tag this group so I do not lose you? Not very computor sauvy...

Hello, I'd like to join! I'd like to be 160 by end of month. This would entail me losing more / week then I have on the first half, but I feel like something in my block 'clicked', I've lost 1.5 and 2lbs in the last two weeks, for the first 5 weeks I was only losing about 0.5-1lb a week! I'm hoping lost of water, exercise (and hopefully some warm weather) helps me get down to 160 for our honeymoon!..

Dorothy - thanks for letting me know how to find the group again..

Enspate - My neighbor just returned from Thailand. Her family lives there..

My husband was stationed there when he was in the Air Force..

I plan to lose 3 lbs by April first. At that point I will be 2/3 toward my goal.

Of 120..

Good luck to everyone!..

Welcome to all of our new members! Every month, I start a new thread for our group. So come April 1st, there will be a new thread - they will always be titled Slow Losers Group - xxxxxx..

We can all do this together & by April 1st, we'll all be smaller! I know 8 lbs is a lofty goal for me, but I'm going to try for it! MyNutrisystemselect food won't be delivered until 2 - 19 days from now & since I have no idea what our Schwans delivery schedule is yet, I have no idea when it's coming in that time frame & my non frozen food is 4 -1 0 days. So, looks like I'll be eating my own food for most of the month. If I can lose weight while doing that, then I'll know that I finally have the eating down right!..

Can any of you ladies tell me how to move my little bird on my ticker when I lose. I thought it would automatically do it when I update my weight loss but it didn't, and doesn't when I click on it. Thanks!..

Hi everyone:.

Iwillgetgo to the top of this page and under community find "My Tickers"go to that page and click on edit and make changes to your ticker...

Hi there what do you consider slow loosers? I generally loose about 2 lbs per week, but have had 1lb loses and even .5 lbs a week. I see some other people out there loose 3, 4 and more per week! I try to stay fairly on track most the time, slips here and there, I also try to exercise a min of 4 days/week...

We classify ourselevs as slow losers because many of us lose no weight at all in a week or even two & when we do finally lose, it's like 2 pounds in a month. Fors us, it becomes frustrating to read about the people who have lost 11 lbs in a week or 2 when we struggle to lose what little we are losing. I refer to it as the "I just joinedNutrisysteman hour ago & I've already lost 10 pounds!!" club. So, we formed our own group so we could support each other in our struggles, cheer with our victories & lend an ear when people just want to vent - all without being beaten up or berated for venting, slipping, etc. This is where we come for support!..

I've been doing theNutrisystemprogram for a month now with some hiccups but mostly on track with high intensity workouts. I've been scared to weigh myself since my start date because scales lie and measurements tell the truth, but I do plan on doing weighing myself over the weekend. I have lost a full inch over around my waist and almost two inches now around my hips. Nothing around my arms or thighs(problem area's). I think a realistic goal is to lose 3lbs, but most importantly I need to stay true to the program and not indulge friday nights!!!! Thank you for this post!..

I am up for it! I am glad I found this thread! I was feeling so discouraged that after 6 days on this plan I have seen 0 results. hmm let see I would love to lose 10lbs by April 1st..

I would also like to be a part of the gorup. I am losing very slowly as well, partly because I tend to eat a little too much - for instance I am very compulsive and have been known to eat more than my daily allotted dessert a time or two. But weight loss is also pretty slow for me right now. I would be happy to lose 3 pounds by 4/1/11 as well. That would put me within 2 pounds of my WW lifetime goal weight again. Hoping to get 10 pounds off by June 1...

This is where I need to be, I have been onNutrisystemsince the middle of Sept, did great at first, then just started creeping off. It took me over 10 weeks to lose 5 lbs. Im close to goal it's gotten even worse. Lost nothing past 2 weeks. I don't have an unrealistic goal wt either. I should be aiming for less, but was just wanting to be a healthy weight.

I would like to lose 2.5lbs by april 1st...

I'd like to join too! I started back onNutrisystemFebruary 25th, and to date I've lost 3 lbs...which is great, but I'd like to be at least 156 by April 1st (aka lose 5 lbs) and be at my goal of 150 by April 30th which is the day we leave for our Florida vacation! I wish I would've taken my measurements when I started because I can tell a difference in my pants and the overall "look" when I'm looking in the mirror in my bathing my fiance and I joined a gym 2 weeks ago and we've been going 3 times a week doing high intensity cardio/weights...and I may go to a sculpt or Zumba class soon! I also do 30 minutes on my elliptical as often as I can and do my Turbo Jam/Turbo Sculpt and Ab Jam DVD's as often as I can...I'll get there, it'll just take a while because I'm convinced my body loves being between 150-160 lbs and is very stubborn and will not budge!!..

Hi, maybe I should join this group too. I started on January 23rd and have only lost 7lbs. A little discouraging. Yes, I drink all my water and eat all my food. No I don't over eat on desserts or other food. I just started exercising daily last week.

I just hope to lose 8lbs by the first week of April. That would make the first time in 5 yrs I would be in the 140 range...

Has anyone ever lost just two lbs in a week? This is the first week I've lost so little and I follow the program 100%..

The most I have lost at a time is 2lbs for the week. I would be thrilled with that. My average was 1.5 lbs a week, then it got to .5 a week and now nothing in 2 weeks. I follow the plan and I exercise. I tell myself at least Im moving down instead of up, even if it is painfully slow...

Bayonne: I also would be thrilled to lose 2 pounds each week! I can only wish! My DH lost 3 this week and he wasn't able to exercise at all! Glad for him, but man that makes me jealous!.

I just finished my 4th week and I'm down 6 lbs. I'm exercising, drinking my water and sticking to plan. I was really hoping to lose 2 pounds most weeks, but it looks like I'll be losing around 1 pound..

I'm going to try to kick up my exercise even more this week and see if I can get up to a 2 lb loss for next week!.

I was hoping to get to goal in about 2 1/2 months, but it looks like it's going to be more like 3 1/2... oh well, slow and steady, right?.

Have a great day everyone!..

Welcome to all of our newbies! Yes, we're all kind of stuck in that "no weight loss for weeks" or "1/2 lb in a week" very, very slow loss. We all are just glad it isn't going UP every week. So we come here to support each other & not berate one another if we have a slip. None of us are any less committed than others, we just struggle more with the weight not coming off as quickly..

We have to stop weighing ourselves so much & go by how our clothes fit, how we feel, etc. Our NSV victories are just as important!!..

This is definitely the group for me I love the way you stated this Jenn. I have been stuck for about a month and really getting frustrated. I stopped posting and even looking at the boards because I just couldn't handle seeing all of the people saying they were losing consistantly small amounts or large amounts. Basically I've hovered at 170-172 for about 6 weeks now. Actually about 3 weeks ago I decided I wouldn't even get on the scale for several weeks just because it wasn't moving and I was getting frustrated. My first weigh in for the last 3-4 weeks will be this Sunday.

I think my body just needs a break and needs to adjust and that could take many weeks. Anyway, I think I might stop in here more often because I guess I need people who understand the frustration of doing what you need to without seeing results or little results...

Welcome Robin!! Please, visit us often - we're here to support you on your journey! Slow though it may be...

Yay, a group for me!! I am in my third week on the program and I have already come to a screeching halt. My goal weight loss is about 12 pounds total. I lost 2 pounds the first week and since then I have bloated out to the size of a sow (horrible gas included, joy) and actually put a pound back on. I am really rigorous about eating all of my food but nothing extra and eating every 4 hours or so. I drink 8-10 big glasses of water a day. I do indulge in alcohol once or twice a week, but my real problem is trying to get out and exercise.

Is there no hope for me if I don't start working out more?..

Welcome! I don't exercise that much & I still lose weight. Exercise wehn you can & don't stress about it. The stress alone will cause tge weight to stay put!.

And DON'T listen to people who chastise you for "not having time" to exercise. They are not you, they don't know your life, your schedule, etc. You exercise when you can...

Oh good, I feel better now! Thanks! The good news is that I did a curiosity weigh in this morning and it looks like I've started losing again. Hopefully my official weigh in on Monday will be even better..

I am begging for advice from the experienced people. Is there any way to battle this bloat? I'm physically uncomfortable some days!! Plus it's potentially really embarrassing to have so much gas when I work with patients all day. Nothing kills faith in your healthcare like a nurse who farts uncontrollably..

Does stuff like Beeno really work or is there a more effective home remedy?..

LOLI know the feelingBeeno does work, simethicone works and there is a thread on here that suggests caraway seeds either swallowed, chewed or made in to a tea. That helps the gas issue but also make certain bowel is regular...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I guess I've become spoiled with losing around 5-7 lbs a week. After last week only seeing two lbs down was a bit discouraging. I don't have much time to excercise and I have a bad back. What I'm trying to do this week is reduce my calories below 1,400 a day. I'll let you know what happens...

And this is why women are jealous of all men on diets! I've been on Nutrisystem for 6 weeks and only lost 9lbs....If I lost 5-7lbs in a week I would be on cloud 9!..

Enspate, you're going to Thailand? I just came back from there a month ago. Where in Thailand are you going?..

Wow, what a week everyone. I'm suppose to weigh in this Sunday according to the plan I put together about a month ago. However, it has been so aweful this week I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I've been stressed for months, but this week I was so upset I could have literally walked out in front of a moving semi doing 60 and just been done. This is one of the reasons why I stopped weighin in weekly because the stress in general with life, on top of the stress of not seeing the scale move even though I was doing everything right and exercising was making me insane. Anyway, I don't know how I'm going to get things back together.

I've even considered just stoppingNutrisystembecause of the money because I just can't seem to get ahead no matter what. I got my tax refund, paid off some bills and was feeling pretty good, then just this past Sunday my furnace went out. It took them 2 days to fix it and I was without heat for 4 days basically. Then due to all the things that went wrong with the furnace I end up with a bill of $1027. Just when I think I've been able to pay off the last major projects that had to be done, here comes another one.

I'm so frustrated and that isn't helping me try to make this weight loss work. Ugh!!!! Sorry to go on everyone, I'm just frustrated with everything from the scale to life in general. At least though there are others here that understand the frustration of trying to loss only to be stuck or be moving by a tenth of a pound at a time. Thanks for all of you coming together.....Not that I want you to be stuck.....but if we are going to be stuck we might as well do it together..

I'll let you know if I decide to weigh in tomorrow, or if I wait until later in the week. I haven't been drinking enough water, ate some wrong things out of stress, and sometimes just didn't even eat all the food. Ugh!! Bad....Bad....Bad Week...

HELP! First time on NutriSystem, wrapping up my second week. Lost 9 pounds the first week, was totally excited. Now I have stalled already, lost nothing this second week. Any thoughts from.

You experienced folks?..

Allyncoledo not give up. No need to kick yourself too much for "slipping". Just get back on track and eat and drink what you should on plan. Life happensnot everything is in our control. But what you eat is in your control. Food is for fuel not for comfort.

Exercise will help you get rid of stress..

WE can do this...

Too-muchRoccoCongratulationswhat a wonderful weight loss!!You body needs time to adjust. Given sufficient time your loss will continuebut maybe not so rapidly...

Checking in. Continuing my slow loss, although things picked up a hair. I have been on the plan for 7 weeks and 4 days, and I have lost 8 pounds. I've been averaging 1 pound a week, but dropped an extra pound this past week. It was rewarding because I was traveling, and assumed I would lose nothing..

Too-much-Rocco, the average is 1-2 pounds a week. You lost 9 in one week, so you are way above average starting out. The first week, you lose a lot of water weight. Depending on how much you are trying to lose and how much you are staying on plan, you can expect variation in the amount you lose..

I suggest calling a counselor to walk through the plan to make sure you are following it properly, and they can give you some tips on what to do to keep that weight coming off..

Wish you all the best of luck!..

Hi, there. Sorry you had such a bad week, but here is the good news: You are going to pick yourself up and keep on going! From what you posted, it sounds like you have had a number of stresses, and you have managed through them. So, this too shall pass!.

In all the chaos, just be sure to take care of yourself. No need to add stress to your life - if you don't want to weigh in, wait until next week. Or weigh in and know, whatever the result, you will do what you need to so that you can manage your stress and your commitment to yourself..

Hang in there!..

I'm in!! My goal is 2 lbs a week!! I know I can do it. I'm going to stick to the plan!!!! Just need some encouraging words and support for the rest of the month...

Well weighed in today, no loss. Just great no loss in over 2 weeks. Feel like Im throwing money away. I have lost only 9lbs since the 3rd week of DEC. I don't think I have lost anything in March. Sorry just venting.

Its very frustrating when your following plan and nothing changes...

We ALL know this feeling -some of us know it really well. I haven't lost ANYTHING since December 23rd & have put on a few pounds here & there & watched my scale go up & down. I quit getting on the damn thing now - I just get too angry. But, I stick to it (granted, I am a realist & when I travel, I balance what I eat - healthy, crap, healthy, crap) & I feel better mentally because I know I am eating better & while the pounds may not register on the scale, I know the inches will..

Allyncole - we're here for you! We all have bad weeks, money issues, etc. Have you checked to see if your health insurance company offers a discount on NS? It will help with your cost. You can also just delay your auto ship for a bit if you need to save cash. I do that every now & then. Just stay off the scale when you're stressed. Really - we have enough to deal with, why test the waters on the scale? Once you see the number not moving, you tend to sabotage yourself & just go completely off plan.

I don't do it. I probably won't weigh again until the end of the month for our challenge weigh in! We are here for you so don't give up!.

Congratulations! We always assume we won't lose weight while traveling. Of course, in my case, it's totally true cuz I drink beer & wine when we travel..

Welcome!! You can do it!!..

Its so nice not to feel alone. It does sometimes feel like everybody is losing weight but me. Thanks for listening to my pity-party and taking the time to comment...

I'm trying, but I don't think I will reach my goal of losing 3 lbs by 4/1. For.

Health reasons I can't be more active. This doesn't seem to matter for other.

Good luck to everyone!!!!.

Hi everyoneI am right there with you. Loss is very slow but I'm hanging in and hope you all are too. We are in this together..

Hugs to everyone..

I am still working at it. On plan 100% - don't know if I'll lose the 8 lbs I want to by April, but I better lose something!.

I also have a great "reward" for each of you that accepted the challenge! When you way in on April 1st, post your loss here so I can record it. You'll just have to PM me or email me with your address...

Hey everybody!! Just checking in. Another day on the scale with no changes. I was venting angrily to my boyfriend (he's on the program and losing) when I realized that I was able to put my jeans on without the "jump and wiggle" that normally has to occur. Hooray! I haven't been measuring inches and have just been staring at the scale wondering what I was doing wrong. Success! Now to avoid the temptation of St. Patty's day fun.....

Congrats!! I never took my measurements either - I just don't happen to have that kind of measuring tape laying around, so I just go by how my clothes fit. These are the Non Scale Victories (NSV) so even though the sale's number may not move, you are losing! Way to go!..

Hi everyone, yes I would love to be down at least 4-5lbs by april1, I started this journey dec.2010, was doing soooo good at first, then alot things got in the way, I have not given up just keep picking myself up and going forward, I have started working out more I really love working out with walk it out!! my weight might be slow but I can feel the inches coming off, my sons and husband tell me all the time how I look good and that they are proud of me, they know it's tough and I have slip ups now and then but I just keep on trucking, it's nice to have the encouragement from them, anyway I hope everyone is doing good. I just tell myself take one day at a time thats all we can do. so if I slip up I slip up, I just get back on track again and again!!!!..

Are any of you on the Senior Women's plan? Sometimes it's hard to.

Get all those snacks in. Seems like I am always eating. I just finish a.

Meal and it's time for a snack or the next meal! I am addicted to chocolate.

Now. Luckily it's on the plan!!!!.

Still trying. Susie..

OK, lost .5 of a pound this week. I will take it with a smile, absolutely better than nothing(which has been my norm lately). Not sure if I will meet the 2.5 I had hoped for by the end of the month. Still going to try...

Hi everyone, just checking in. I got on the scale today.....drumroll....I lost the pound I had gained and another 1/2! Yes, I am thrilled. When I expressed my happiness to my husband, he said, "I don't know why you're happy. I told you not to lose any more weight!" I ignored him (the donut king). Since I started NS, he PUT ON 10 pounds! What is THAT all about?.

Anyway, Jenn, I was wondering if you ever received your frozen food? And if you did, your verdict?..

I have only been onNutrisystemfor 4 wks. and I am really missing peanut butter and chips and salsa!.

Now, I just read, they are discontinuing the peanut butter bar for the Silver Plan! I feel like crying...

Wonder why they are doing that? Im with you, miss and love peanut butter...

Congrats on you weight loss!! My scale hasn't budged - I did finally weigh in this past Saturday - still stuck. Hasn't gone up or down, so I got dat goin' for me, which is nice. *sigh* I really do have to toss that damn thing out the window!.

I did get my frozen food & I love it. So far I haven't had anything I don't like & the frozen food feels like a treat for me for some reason. I am just thrilled that they have offered the half frozen, half shelf stable plan at a really affordable price w/the rollback..

I continue to stick to the plan & I know that I will lose weight EVENTUALLY!! But really, sometimes it just pisses me off that I am sticking to plan & no weight has been lost...

Congratulations! A loss is a loss no matter how small!..

Hi all. I started 8 days ago. Lost 2 pounds in the last week, but since I've weighed myself almost everyday it.

Fluctuate back to the original and and as low as 2.5 pounds. As long as I'm down I'm ok. I've also increased my exercise and hope to be down another 4 by April 3! I thought I'd miss bread...LOVE Italian bread...but I haven't been hungry. I guess that's the best part!..

Have I said I just love this thread. It is nice to have some place to come when it just isn't working no matter how hard you are working and know someone understands your frustration and it isn't just you or what you are doing..

Anyway, I was very excited yesterday. I weighed in at 171.8 which was up 1.2 from when I started my break from exercise a month ago so I was VERY happy with that. I honestly thought I would gain some because I think the deficit between what I was burning and what I was eating was too big and my body wasn't willing to let go of the calories and fat. So, anyway, considering how stressed I've been, how many times I've sabotaged myself at times I'm very happy I'm only up 1.2 from my lowest point. Now on to the better news. I feel great.

I really think this could be a good week for me. I'm really hoping the drastic change from laziness to 100% food and exercise will help me lose 2 lbs this week and then I could actually see the 160's. I'm a little afraid to get my hopes up, but right now the excitement is actually motivating so I'm going to run with it. :-) I'll let you know how it works out on Sunday. I'm sure I can't pull off 2 lbs weekly, but just one week would be awesome.

Sorry I've been MIA for a while. I just felt like all I was doing was whinning and I didn't want to do that. I want to be an encouragement, not a whinner. Congrats to all of those who lost, even if it wasn't the lose you really wanted. For those of us who have always lost slow, or just found ourselves recently slowing losing anything even a couple tenths of a pound is exciting (or it is for me). Great job everyone!!.

I'll be back at least next Sunday if not before. Oh, and thank you all for the encouragement...

So great to see you back Robin! You sound like you are a complete 180 from your last post!.

And don't worry about coming here if you feel the need to complain - that's what we're here for & we all understand that very basic need. Sometimes this can be REALLY frustrating so don't feel like you're being a downer because you're not. If you need us on the days when you aren't motivated, then we're here for you!.

You truly sound motivated to get outdoors & ride that bike so congrats! I'm looking in to purchasing a cheap bike just to get outside. I'd way rather walk on my treadmill than outside for some reason (it's a self conscious thing I know) but every time it's been nice here, I want to hop on a bike & ride!..

Great day! I went to the gym today and got on the eliptical. I was shocked, I actually did 20 minutes (which is the max at the gym). The last time I tried the eliptical I died trying to do 7 minutes. Woohoo!!!! I also did 25 minutes on the treadmill, so total I got in 45 minutes and burned 300 calories per the machines. Feel great!!!..

Hi everyone! I'm def a slow loser and would love to join this group. How does everyone feel about maxing out their proteins v eating leaner proteins? do you think maxing, leaner, or somewhere inbetween works best with your weight loss?..

Great job Robin!!! I haven't done any exercise since Saturday when I dd my Wii Fit. I did the Extended Running which is about 10 minutes at a really good clip, but since you're basically running in place & I was barefoot since I had been doing other Wii Fit exercises on the balance board, I ended up basically running on my tippy toes! So since Sunday, my calves have been killing me like they did when I would mountain climb. Like, I could barely walk down the steps Sunday without wincing with every step!.

Now I just have to remember to pause the Wii Running at the start until I have put my sneakers on so I can run properly!.

Since then I have just done weight training - lifting 8 - 10 lb dumbbells for arm exercises. I'd really like to not have fat arms & especially the dreaded "bat wing"..

Welcome! Well, I basically just eat lower fat proteins (greek yogurt, low fat or FF string cheese, chicken breast, seafood, etc) for my proteins. I've not really change dthem around. Maybe I should - might help me lose!!..

Thanks for the encouragement Jenn. Hope you feel better soon. I know I'm feeling my workout today. I think I should have stretched a little more yesterday. That's ok though, I'll get over it and stretch tonight..

Cole514.......About a week or two ago I changed up my protein. Originally I was eating Greek Yogurt, Veggie Sausage, and whatever else I decided on. Now I'm eating basically all hard protein if I can. I swtiched my veggie sausage to turkey sausage, and my yogurt for ham, and then I still do whatever for the lunch thing depending upon what I'm having....however I still try to stick to the hard proteins. I can't tell you if it is working as it is too new to know and I also took about a month and rested because I was frustrated the scale wasn't moving. Looking forward to seeing this week's weigh in...
