Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..
There are essentially two ways to lose weight - one is dieting and the other is exercise. Although it will help to exercise, your body will still shed those pounds by simply eating healthier and right sizing your portions..
Yes, you most certainly can!..
Absolutely! I did very little exercise when I 1st started I have back, hip, and foot problems. I lated added in some execise on a stationary bike and/or pushing a grocery cart. I've lost weight just fine, without being hungry and staying satisfied!..
I have severe arthritis in my knee, hip, and spine. That makes it difficult to exercise. It's frustrating for me, because about six years ago, I was walking five to six miles a day and doing Tae Kwon Do three days a week. Then back problems. I'm only in my third week of NS, but I've been losing well without much exercise. I trywe have a Wii, and my DD and I love Just Dance and Just Dance 2.
I can also do some of the exercises on Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports..
Can you alter some exercises so you can do them? I've had some help from a personal trainer to alter exercises so they don't cause more pain to my back and knee. It was really helpful to talk with her. Just a thought..
Best wishes to you!..
Like everyone said, yes, you can lose weight onNutrisystemwithout exercise and many people have done it..
But, can you get to your goal of a 20.8 BMI without exercising?.
In my opinion, that would be very difficult to do without severely restricting your calories to a dangerous level. I am at a BMI of 20.7 and got there withNutrisystemand 1-2 hours per day / 6 days per week of very intensive exercise. There is no way I could have reached that BMI without serious exercise unless I lowered my daily calories below 1,000 which is completely unhealthy and dangerous...
Forestdeer, I'm not allowed to exercise until my neck and back are healed from a car accident. I lost 5lbs the first week and have always had trouble losing weight. Yes, it can work! I wish you the best...
Some people just aren't able to do intensive cardio exercise, or to do heavy weights, but you just need to make sure that, for your general health, you are doing what you *can* do...know what I mean? Talk with your Dr about this, and ask what exercise you could add in to your program, and then follow Dr's orders..
Make sure, though, that you don't leave out any food in an effort to lose weight...that won't be healthy for you...
That statement is so true that I couldn't resist putting it in bold and big print...
Great advice so far! And many have found that with weight loss their ability to be more active increased...
