Quick question... How many Nutrisystem points is this meal? Many thanks for any response. Second question.. I just joined and received my first shipment. I'm really hesitant to try the eggs -can anyone give me some tips on how to cook them or how to use them?..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

Put the water in and let them set for a while. It seems to take a while to rehydrate. I like to add Boca links or canadian bacon cut up...

I add the water the directions state, then I add either a little egg substitute or an egg white and seasonings. I saute some garlic, zucchini and/or whatever veggies you like and then add the eggs and scramble it all up. I also add some parmesan cheese and just don't have one of my proteins later, I really like them like that. Take care, Sheila..

The eggs are definitely better when made in a fry pan with Pam spray. I didn't believe there could be much difference but there is vs the microwave!!!..

OKAY, I know you've all been waiting, wondering how long it would take for me to see a question re: the eggs and come on line always eager to share my recipe that NO ONE HAS EVER TRIED!!! This is the ONLY way I like the eggs and I LOVE THEM this way..

Use 3 egg whites as your protein. Beat the egg whites stiff. Fold the egg powder into the egg whites. Spray a small, DEEP, baking dish with PAM. Pour the egg mixture into the dish and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. When the top is golden brown, it is down.

I also like to top this with a slice of ff cheese..

I just love this recipe and I share it with everyone who asks about the eggs and to my knowledge, no one has ever tried it, but that's okay. I just keep sharing it. Someday someone will be glad I did...

No, I just use the powder..

This exact same recipe also works well with the sweet potato lunch. Only you use the sweet potato powder instead of the egg powder...

Definitely agree - frying pan with pam is the way to go. They make a very delicious omelette. We like to add onions, peppers and mushrooms. Then we also use one of our dairy servings and add Low Fat cheddar cheese. Try it and I'm sure you will like it. When you prepare them this way, you won't know they are powdered Nutrisystem eggs.

I prefer the veggie sausage ones. Best of luck to you! Nutrisystem Rocks!..

I tried your recipe - it was really good. I topped it with 1 oz of cheese before taking it out of the oven and put a couple of spoonfuls of salsa on it. Thanks! I'm going to do the skillet omelets tomorow..

I don't know if I just have an aversion to the eggs or what but to me they have an undesirable smell and slightly icky taste. I didn't notice this with the first few batches I made but lately they haven't tasted too great. I too do the fry pan w/Pam or ICBINB , add mushrooms/ham/vegies, and top it off w/salsa or ketchup which makes them more edible!!! I TOTALLY agree that the ones w/cheddar seem to have a better flavor...

I add some chopped anaheim chilis & red pepper flakes. Definitely better if you cook in a pan. I use some kind of zero calorie butter flavor spray to coat the pan..

I LOVE THE EGGS.....and I don't even care for eggs..

I use a real egg with it and make an omlet with the veggies and cheese thats allowed..
