First of all How many Nutrisystem points is a slice of Avalanche! pizza? Many thanks for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. The potato salad that is made with Nutrisystem Cheesy Homesystyle Potatoes is so yummy!.

This was my first time making it and I really miss not having something with it other than a salad. To me it's more of a side dish this way..

It makes so much, that I couldn't eat all of it..

Is there anyway to have half of it at lunch and add another protein with it?.

Or even half of a protein..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you an answer..

I made the potato salad for lunch today and had it with a HN hot dog. I love that salad recipe. It really tastes like potato salad...

Jonies Nutrisystem Potato Salad.

Category: Lunch.

Heres a great recipe from NutriSystem member Jonie in Wilbur, Indiana. She says, With summer approaching, potato salad is a family favorite and I created this recipe so I wouldnt miss out on that delicious picnic favorite. I thinks it's yummy! Add a tossed salad and it's a meal..

Counts as 1 NutriSystem lunch entre + 1 protein serving + free foods.

INGREDIENTS.

1 Nutrisystem Cheesy Homestyle Potatoes with Broccoli.

1 T chopped onion.

1 T dill relish.

2 T fat-free mayonnaise.

1 T yellow mustard.

1 boiled egg.

1 T chopped celery.

DIRECTIONS.

1. Prepare potatoes as directed on the package and let set while preparing other ingredients.

2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl and then add the potatoes..

Note from Jonie: I love warm potato salad, so I eat it that way, but you can prepare it ahead of time and chill it, too...

I see...the boiled egg is the PROTEIN for lunch. How about 1/2 boiled egg and then add another protein (like the hot dog)?..

I make it without the egg and have a couple ounces grilled chicken with it (with a little BBQ sauce sometimes). Or I'll make 2 servings and just use one egg and then still have a little chicken with it...

I only get 1 protein with lunch..

How can you have the cheesey homestyle potatoe entree and the hot dog?.

Do you get more than 1 protein at lunch?.

I really like the potato salad but it makes too much and I miss not having something (like a protein or carb) with it. That's why I was wondering if I could have just half of it and add another 1/2 protein....

I make it with 1/4 cup egg beaters cooked in the microwave, then cooled, chopped and added to the potato mixture, and it is great! That way I can still have 1 ff hot dog or a boca burger (minus the bun!) with it!..

An HN hot dog is 45 calories, 1/2 protein. I don't use a whole egg and I do add celery and sliced radishes when I have them...

I made this today for lunch. Divided it in half and had a piece of tilapia for my protein..

The potato salad idea sounds GREAT - I think I'll give that a try minus the hard-boiled egg. Will add 1 oz. of chopped lean ham (any 1 oz serving of lean meat would work actually) instead and have my green salad as usual to accompany it...

Yum I just made this for my lunch today. This is a great meatless Lenten Friday lunch. It's neat how a couple of diced up vegetables and some condiments can make a small portion of something into a feast...

Make sure you get the 98% (or is it 97%) fat free ones...the regular Hebrew Nationals do not fit the stats...but the reduced fat ones are very good! Try not to have them too often, they are high in sodium...
