Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could assist you..

Other than the color and texure I thought it was pretty good..

My wife couldn't get past the color and texture...

I don't know if they reformulated it or if my taste buds have once again mutated, but I ordered a few recently on a what-the-hell, it was much better than it was in springtime..

I do wish the wrap that came with it was a bit easier to manage but /shrug. Gives me my buffalo chicken fix...

Tasted too spicy for me, I don't have an tongue for heat, but I could eat sour stuff all day long...

Ok, sorry I'm in the Men's room. Just happened to see this post. The color is scary and wrong. HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is really good, especially with cumin and greek yogurt..

I'll go dig up a thread where it can be made into a tortilla chicken casserole thing. I SWEAR, it's really good if you like or miss chicken enchiladas!..

Here is the thread.......... Also, that aside, I love the Joseph's tortillas that I've bought at Netrition.com And I've cooked my own chicken in a crockpot. So if you hate the entree, chicken, strange orange color, or tortilla, you can make your own meal here!.

I was warned about this by a friend, but I may try it sometime.....

My wife and I have about 5-7 of them left over from around February. I'll be putting them (along with a few other Nutrisystem fails) on my "free to a good home" table at our next community garage sale. They are vile...

I had one yesterday that Nutrisystem was kind enough to send me as part of my free week of food. I thought it looked like barf. Tasted ok but would not order it at all ever!..

It was gooey, slightly radioactive, and the wrap was brittle, but I still liked it. Buffalo wings used to be one of my comfort foods, so I didn't think this entree was spicy at all...

Not one of my favorites. It's just OK, and I add a little hot sauce to it..

I put some hot sauce on it and I actually liked it. I had an extra one added to my next order. I think the trick is to not cook it in the microwave, on the stove seems to dry it up a bit and makes it much better...

I don't care for the filling. However, I like the actually wrap..

For those who eat any of the wraps, if you put it in a skillet (no oil or pam), and "toast" it on both sides until it gets warm, brown at some contact areas, and sort of bubbles up like regular tortillas, it gets soft and tastes pretty good...

I voted for "meat-flavored orange," which was the closest to my description of "dye-flavored orange-colored sort-of-meat." Oddly, though, the Southwestern chicken wrap is one of my favorites. I eat it straight up...

I'll eat it. But I eat the hot dog and split pea soup as well...

You're a sick man....

( But being here, a success nonetheless.

)..

I'm the same way, the color and texture is really sick & wrong. I've only gotten it with the "free" stuff they've sent. I held out this past shipment until it was the last thing I had left, mixed it with some peppers, tomatoes and other stuff and it wasn't bad...

Ate this tonight. Licked the plate clean. I don't get you guys, this isn't girls night out, we are losing weight here. Get in the trenches, eat your construction orange colored chicken goo then do some push-ups!..

The mental image of you licking that orange baby poop is putting me off my zesty herb mix..

Okay, I just added 2 fat strippers..

Doesn't help...

Really?.

Now visualize Ted licking buffalo chicken filler offa.

Them.

...

They are better with more tabasco sauce and some ff blue cheese dressing...

Ok, now I'm confused. Are you talking about the 2 fat strippers or the chicken wrap?..

I think I'm going to have to order one to find out the secret of these things..

I did some research on the boards for awhile until I placed my first order and a majority of folks were dead set against these..

Heck, if you guys did it, I can man up and try it to...

My expectations of Nutrisystem foods was pretty low. Overall, the foods were waaaay above what I expected..

They were mostly edible or good. Some were great (that trail mix bar cannot possibly okay to eat while trying to lose weight!.

)..

But even with very low expectations, the wrap fell short for me. I tried to close my eyes but just couldn't do it..

I know I've posted before, but I literally offered it to our 10 year old Springer Spaniel who is famous for eating.

Anything.

He sniffed it a couple times, licked it, and.

He.

Wouldn't eat it either! Lol..

Anyway, I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to be but that's one entree I won't miss.

~J~.

PS. Reilly once ate an iron in the basement. The entire plastic ironthe plastic, the cord (!)all that was left was a few plastic pieces, the steel bottom and the plug at the end of the cord. A few days later he ate a fishing pole and most of a felt lined hunting boot! He wouldn't touch that wrap!..

Okay for the record, here it is:.

FILLING: CHICKEN BREAST MEAT (CHICKEN BREAST MEAT, WATER, SALT, MODIFIED FOOD STARCH, SODIUM PHOSPHATE), WATER, COOKED SHREDDED CHICKEN (BONELESS CHICKEN, WATER AND SODIUM PHOSPHATES), SEASONINGS (DEHYDRATED BLEND OF CAYENNE PEPPER [AGED CAYENNE RED PEPPERS, VINEGAR, SALT, GARLIC], MALTODEXTRIN, MODIFIED FOOD STARCH, SOY LECITHIN, PAPRIKA, NATURAL BUTTER TYPE FLAVOR, XANTHAN GUM), MODIFIED FOOD STARCH, VINEGAR, NATURAL BLUE CHEESE FLAVOR, OLEORESIN PAPRIKA (NATURAL EXTRACTIVES OF PAPRIKA, SOYBEAN OIL, CANOLA OIL). TORTILLA: ENRICHED WHEAT FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, BARLEY MALT, NIACIN, IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID), WATER, WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, GLYCERINE, OAT FIBER, CANOLA OIL, ANHYDROUS DEXTROSE, BAKING POWDER, VITAL WHEAT GLUTEN, CALCIUM PROPIONATE, FUMARIC ACID, WHITE RICE FLOUR, XANTHAN AND GUAR GUM, SALT, POTASSIUM SORBATE, ASCORBIC ACID. CONTAINS MILK, SOY AND WHEAT..

It is indeed listed as a "chicken" product but mine did not have actual pieces of meat in it like this one:.

It was just a bright orange paste..

Sheesh, that picture's making me hungry...

I've ended up removing both of the wraps from my order. It's like they took the food in that picture and put it in a blender before sending it to us..

I had to wolf down 2 of these in total, the 2nd time around I mixed my veggies into the mush to give it some substance. The texture was much improved, but not good enough to stay on the menu...

I ate the BBQ wrap. I have eyed the buffalo chicken one since then, without even opening the box..

Some of this is because I'm not a big fan of buffalo seasoning in the first place..

But that first wrap has made me mistrust all others. It is the Sauron of wraps. The ultimate evil...

Pheeww, thanks for the heads up I didn't get any and now I wont order them....Just had the Chicken Alfredo and must admit I really liked it..

Glad you're still with us Gbatch..

You can do dis!..

He's beginning to like the food, the transformation is almost complete.....

Ok...thank you for the laughs, my work day really left me needing some good belly laughter....

Of course now I will have horrid images of the iron eating dog cowering in the corner in fear of a pair of fat strippers drooling an orange goo with radioactive, mutants buffalo/chicken hybrids morphing out of their flesh. it is like a roger corman film interpretation of an hp lovecraft story...

Inspired by this thread, I did one tonight. I liked it. Musta been hungry..

The saving grace is there is too much goop (anyone have a better word for that viscous evil-looking slop in the pouch?) for the paltry wrap they include, so use a big honking (whole grain) one from Costco for my carb and have 2 of them..

Gordon..

Really? I thought it was just right and get.

Really.

Sick if I eat something too spicy. It took me a while to test it out....glad I did...chicken has to be added for me to enjoy it though. Without chicken....it's just paste. If I eat sour stuff for a long time, the roof of my mouth feels raw. I did used to enjoy Warheads....they were pretty sour. Sour gummi bears & those Trolli worms are supposed to be sour, but I love those to death.

Of course I don't eat them regularly now since I'm on NS...

I'll attest to the mod on this. It ended up tasting a lot better. I added cumin, FF sour cream, some enchilada sauce, jalapenos. It was nice...
