Got a question, hope someone can answer... How many calories is one point in Nutrisystem? Hoping for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. Hi! I am starting my program tomorrow and I think I purchased the wrong yogurts! (I just noticed while reading the food list online). I purchased the "Dannon Light & Fit Nonfat Strawberry/Banana Yogurts". They are in a 6 oz.

Is this okay? I read you need to have 7g or more? I don't want to mess this up already... Help!!! Thanks..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

I have been eating Yoplait Light. It has only 5g protien but 100 to 120 calories(depending on flavor). I have been doingNutrisystemsince 07/07/10 and have lost 16lbs already, so I think you will be fine. I'm with Rvdeb, the greek yogurt tends to be much higher in the calories, I see an average of 140 cals. So I would rather cut on the protein, and have lower calories...

If you like Dannon light and fit, the sugar and carb control yogurt (4oz) would be a better option, 2 equal a dairy serving.

Another option is greek yogurt (higher in protein).

Or buy NF plain yogurt and add your own fruit.

If you call the phone # on the back of your meal planner (24/7), they may be able to give you some suggestions on how to best use the yogurts you mistakenly purchased..

Wow! Thanks so much! Yeah, my hubby was getting happy already thinking that he might be able to eat them LOL. I will definitely go ahead and call the # on the back of the planner. I just don't want to eat the one with higher protein because they have way more calories than I should be having. But thanks so much for your suggestions and good advice. You've helped alot. Best of Luck to all!!!..

Not sure which brand name you are referring to; however, it sounds like these are 2 'NS dairy servings' per container..

I eat the Lite&Fit daily and it hasn't derailed me...

I've been eating the Yoplait or Dannon daily since I started. I just can't get myself to spend $1.50-$2 each for greek yogurt, when the other is always on sale for 50 cents. My other protein is always a lean meat...

I eat the dannon greek yogurt. it has 12g protein and 110-120 cals. I believe that if you are given the choice of dairy/protein.......one of those CAN be UP TO 120 cals....once per day..

You can't eat that many calories every time, but once in awhile will be ok and it won't de-rail you from plan. i'm pretty sure it even says it in the meal planner book.....i may be mistaken, but I think it does...

I've been eating that exact yogurt daily since I started NS. I've lost 150 pounds and reached my goal weight, so I think it works just fine. I've also continued to eat it while maintaining my goal weight, and I've maintained my weight loss for just over a year now. All while consuming the exact yogurt you mentioned..

Just thought I'd let you know, my experience...

They should have at least 7 grams or protein but I use the Dannon all the time and have done fine. You can compensate by having something else during the day for a protein that is higher in protein. I found Archer Farms yogurt at Target and it has 7 or 8 grams of protein and 90 calories. A lot of people use greek yogurt but I have not done thatthe calories are higher and I really try to stay on the lower end of the calorie spectrum since I am getting closer to goal. You will get lots of good advice about greek yogurt here if you want to try that but go ahead and eat the Dannonno need to waste it...
