My first question is How do I work out Nutrisystem points for foods not listed? Thanks for any answer or 2. Another question I got... I noticed that they are selling the Nutrisystem program at Costco (in Canada) for $244.99 after a $55 discount which is almost $100 off the price I am paying via the Nutrisystem Canada website..

I'd like to buy the card at Costco and switch over but was just wondering how difficult this would be for me to do. e.g. how do I transition out of my autodelivery and into the costco thing?.

Also, will I be able to go on an auto-delivery with the $244.99 discounted Costco price -OR- is it a one-time delivery only that goes back up to $299.99 after the first shipment?.

Thanks in advance!..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

I'm on the Costco program. It is great! Costco sells the card on sale at times. I got my card on sale. When you take the card and redeem it via NS, you will be asked if you want to sign up for AD. The cost of the shipments after the initial card will be the regular Costco price minus any discounts you have earned via NS. All shipments have free shipping and handling..

You will need to fulfill any obligations you had with your originalNutrisystemorder before you switch. For example, if you signed up with the "three months, three weeks free" type promotion, if you cancelled before the third shipment, you would have to pay some type of financial obligation such as shipping...

I don't think that is the case. I believe the fine print has always said that if you cancel before your 2nd shipment, or delay your second AD order my more than 30 days, then you are penalized. Even if you are on a 3 or 4-week free promotion, you are only obligated to order a minimum of 2 months (you don't get all the free weeks up front so no obligation to stay for the duration)...

Thanks for the clarification. I just pulled that promotion out of memory but didn't remember the specifics other than what I had read in some threads and not all mentioned the details with each promotion...

So, if I understand this correctly I won't be penalized since I'm not cancelling or delaying my shipments, but instead just modifying my plan to be the Costco one?.

Thank you both for the information!.

Sorry, I didn't see the message directly following mine.. so it's likely that I WILL be penalized since I'm "cancelling" the current promotion. I guess it's time to call Customer Service!..

No, that is not correct. There is no such thing as "modifying" your order to the Costco plan. You have to take the second shipment direct fromNutrisystemon your current plan in order to not be penalized (I'm not sure if the terms & conditions for the Canadian program is different - check them or call and find out). After the second shipment, you then cancel your current program and switch to the Costco pricing. You can still buy the card now while it is on sale, just don't redeem it until you are ready...

Just as another option, you can use the card on a one time basis, while keeping your Basic program...they just delay your next order, and you keep the program you signed up with initially...

Thanks everyone for all the input! I ended up calling Customer Service and was told that I wouldn't face any cancellation penalties (e.g. being charged back the 10% discount and shipping) since I'm still receiving the food. I, however, don't really trust this so I think I will accept my second shipment and delay my third to take advantage of the costco deal..

Thanks again!..

That only gets you the Costco price one time though. Log out of the site and then read the terms and conditions on the home page it should tell you if there is a penalty for canceling..

Do you pay shipping to Canada? That may be part of the difference. I think the Canadian plan has different terms...
