Question I have... How do I set email account on outlook error showing re Verisign SSL in advance? Hoping for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: Hey All,.

I am fairly new to OsCommerce, but I have been playing around a bit it's a lot of fun.. and totally looking forward to donating whatever I can to the community..

I have a question..

My client has asked me to give him the option of having 2 price boxes one for regular pricing and one for this store price, regular pricing having a strike through it and this store price beign bold and red..

How do I add a option in the back end for the admin to be able to add this option...

Im a designer not so much a coder so this may sound really simple to some of you but all the help is appreciated!!..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could give you an answer..

Hi Poyan,.

I think this is what you are looking for as OSC 'out of the box' does NOT already do what you're trying to do..

Ok great thanks! I'm going to look into this now.. specials does do this but I'm looking to have this effect appear globally as the default...

After I almost finished making the proper updates to all the files, it seems that I'm missing code or my php pages are different and have been manipulated from the original since I purchased a template from templatemosnter.com.. I'm not advanced enough to figure out every little detail of how to make it work since the code seems really mixed up... is there not a easy solution for this?.

Forgive me if I'm tottaly way off but.....

I imagined a extra field where the admin makes the product for the regular price (striked out text) and just and echo of that price displayed beside the actual price that the user viewed.. but I'm sure coming from a designers perspective I'm all wrong about how it would really work...

You can either fix the contribution to get it to work, it looks like it does what you need or add the product extra field contribution and hack that..

Neither is a designer job..

When you place an item on special in admin it already does this. Not sure about bold, but the strikethrough and red is already accomplished. I am sure the bold could be added in the stylesheet..
