Your question was: How do I register a domain name without using someone like godaddy.com?.
Because paypal only supports people with a US bank account and people with the well-known credit cards.....
Estdomains accepts Moneybookers, e-gold, Paypal, and Webmoney. They're ICANN accredited and pretty cheap at $6.39 for a .com. http://www.estdomains.com/.
Loving Domains accepts Moneybookers, e-gold, Paypal, and several others. Looks like they are a Resellerclub (Directi) reseller. http://www.lovingdomains.com/.
Rep appreciated...
Thanks a lot edjackiel, repped!.
Decided to just settle for Dynadot. They've got excellent reviews.....
I don't have a US bank account and I've been using Paypal for a long time? Hmm, but I'm sure you already did your own research.
Dynadot's pretty good for me too...
Research for what? I have a Paypal account (first-hand experience?) and when I try adding funds to it, I only have 2 options:.
1 - "Credit/debit cards...accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo" - I've tried adding one of my debit cards with a Visa logo and it doesn't seem to wanna be accepted....
2 - "Transfer Funds From a Bank Account in the United States" - Which I don't have.
My debit cards seem alright with Moneybookers so I don't really have much choice...
I was referring to the countries allowed to use Paypal. I use my Mastercard to add funds and don't have a problem. Ever tried contacting Paypal regarding you not being able to use your Visa?..
Hello ...
I'm liking moneybookers more and more compared to PayPal ... not sure exactly why though if I stop to think about it would probably be able to articulate a few reasons pretty quickly ... Was actually thinking about starting a thread to get more opinions from people who have more experience using both - also curious to know more about other alternatives (going to check into webmoney now) .....
