First off, How do I figure out how many points I'm allowed each day on Nutrisystem? Many thanks for any response. My other question... <rambling vent/rant>.

I started on Nutrisystem on July 10th and I'm in a bit of a weird funk. I'm not all that enthusiastic about Nutrisystem as I was. I still plan on lossing the rest of the weight hell I've already dropped over 50lbs pounds but the program has become, well for the lack of a better word, boring. I dont feel like binging or anything like that. I have no real desire to order an 18 inch pizza and eat 2/3rd of it or devouring large quanties of gyros etc. I think that it has become too routine and too preditible.

I ordered a week of frozen food a la carte to go along with my regular order so hopefully that my help ignite a spark in me but, if not, I guess that I'll just muddle through my Nutrisystem angst till it passes lol...

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

Believe it or not, the frozen food helped me alot. I was really jaded about Nutrisystem for awhile, but I think I was mostly just bored with the food. Having differnt stuff to try really helped me get back on track..

I also subscribe to a healthly cooking magazine (Eating Well) and when I'm really bored I cook something out of there. I figure I need to learn healthy cooking anyway. Can't eat out of the BBB forever..

I've also decided that I'm having sushi one night a week. Kinda carby, but it hasn't hurt me yet. I just stay away from the tempura stuff...

I dunno I guess since Im such a creature of habit eating the same foods over the months didn't really gnaw at me. In truth I like the convenience. If you're feeling stuck in a rut hit up the recipe forums or the food talk forum for ways to spice it up and change the stuff around. Hell when I discovered I could add pickle slices to my Nutriburgers guilt free I damn near did cartwheels. Im not much of a cook and easy to impress...

Tastes change, change with it. Ditto on the advice already given..

The box is kinda the condiment to the add in vegetables..

Every week I slice up eggplant, zucchini, onions and garlic and roast them for an hour @ 400* with black pepper and pam. Makes it easy to spice up those boxes.

Frozen or fresh vegetables work wonders too; try the sausage and chicken with okra and peppers for a different twist..

I was very wary of the food when I was doing research into NS; happily I made some good choices I enjoy, and discovered new ones along the way..

Eat out once a week, really. Learn to make the smart choices in the real world where everyone else eats..

We did this to ourselves, we do this for ourselves. Enjoy the journey...

I do hope that the frozen foods help with the monotony of the food choices. I will definately be check out that.

Yeah, I'll just have to check out some of the recipes that are out there and try to use them to change things up a bit...

I do roast of veggies once or twice a week and that has helped out. I was suprised how much I like them cooked that way. Really does change things up. I even bought one of the oven roaster things to do it with..

I went through the same thing, and I'm on the vegetarian plan, so I have even fewer choices for meals. All the advice above is good, it sounds like you just need some variety in your diet. This thread has been helpful for me as well, though, I may look at the frozen choices and at that magazine for ideas.....
