Quick question... How do figer out how many points I should eat when I'm on Nutrisystem? Thanks in advance for any answer. Another question I got... My son has been taking karate/martial arts lessons for for about 9 months. I love to watch and would really like to participate, especially the kick boxing; however, the BPs are not rolling in enough cash to shell out an addtional $125/month for me..

I can get Tai Chi classes through my HMO for next to nothing, and it's close to my house. To me it looks like yoga for idiots, but they call it a marshall art. Is this a legitimate form of exercise?.

Is it fun? Does it burn any calories? Will I find inner piece?..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably know..

Do a quote on a post and take a look at it. You'll see all the text with a line of code before it and a bit of code at the end. Copy/paste this code before/after any blocks of text that you want to isolate as separate quotes. It also helps to make the post more understandable if you delete irrelevant text and extra lines. Hope that helps...

Mr. BP - It looks like you already have your answers. Ti Chi is a great form for many people..

After 6 months - 1 year of research, I chose a program that worked for me. I agree with OSO on the instructor can make or break the class. As you can no doubt tell, I am very passionate about the program my wife and I are doing. We begin each class with 15 minutes of stretching, followed by some intense patterns. The first time I saw a 2 on 1 pattern, I was hooked. Choi Kwang-Do is a perfect cross-training program blend with weight training that I do on alternating days..

Most classes, I am drained from the activity and intensity levels invested Each class makes me a better person..

Check around, a lot of places will let you try out the class either free or at a reduced rate. Bottom line: find something you'll like doing. Instead of staying on the couch, in front of the TV watching life pass you by..

Tai Chi is a martial art because of the dicipline. Movements are slow, deliberate and sustained. Many parks in China are filled at 5:00am with seniors doing Tai Chi in unison. It seems to keep people amblitory longer but I haven't seen many calories burned. I didn't get hit when I jokingly called it 'ballet practice' when I saw my ex-father-in-law doing it. I doubt that you will find it as what you are looking for..

Tai Chi is a very good exercise in that it strenghtens not only your outer body but also your vital organs (liver, heart, lungs, kidneys, brain). It is also one of the deadliest forms of martial arts when the moves are used in real time (fast). They are practiced in slow motion to teach concentration, balance and harmony. I know it looks trippy when watching, try it you might like it...
