My first question is: How can I renew an expired domain name though it is in a redemption period in godaddy.com?.

My next question is: What is your expected price will get this domain? what is the value of this HostGator in your words? write anything you think good about it...

Your question was: How can I renew an expired domain name though it is in a redemption period in godaddy.com?.

Sure, but it's still at $1,050,000 with only 4 days to go... No new bids at all in the past 3 days.....

Yeah but pros leave it until last 10 mins, even for a $2k name.

Now is not best time to sell, having said that if you got 40 million in bank and everywhere you turn nothing is worth inversting in, 5 million may quite easily make someone a HUGE roi.

Usually I take big reported sales and many offered with a pinch of salt, pizza.com/net good examples.

This is a monster name...

What would you do with it, dream scenario?.

Make it into a "portal for everything"?.

I was thinking you could sell subdomains eg. music.america.com, but that's thinking way too small.

Maybe they'll franchise the hell out of it, and have a whole lot of companies under the one banner (lawns, credit cards, hotels, etc, etc).

Personally i'd rather see a twee little circa 1985 site on it - history of the pilgrims, picture of all the states, etc - bad design - contact via the writer's AOL email address - no ads - the works...

This HostGator let me think the "chinese" @ sedo..

That HostGator is a highest price in auction...

I think that a big TV network could take up the HostGator and make it a news / entertainment site such as yahoo...

Someone should hit the fast forward on this auction, everyone is waiting on everyone else to make the move, last 10 mins should make for some fireworks. Good advice on the TV networks, a few million is nothing for the asset they are getting. This sale will really bring awareness to the industry for all domainers...

Hmmmm, makes me wonder which would be worth more, America.com or China.com...

I think it should sell for double the current price..

Im surprised it's still only at a $1 million..

Was it sold? did it meet reserve price? how much price it has got?..

Great name for sure. No question. But it's not a porn.com or business.com.

Would be in top 7 names in my views...
