First question I got is How can I lose weight without eating any Dukan Diet foods within 1 month? Thanks for any response. Another quick question... 1 small package SF jello (flavor - your choice).

1/3c SF canned fruit, drained, rinsed & pat dry then cut into bite size pieces (save fruit portion from another meal).

1 Dukan Diet golden pound cake, cut into about 8 slices.

Place pound cake pieces into the bottom of a dish & cover with fruit pieces.

Make jello according to package directions & pour enough over the pound cake & fruit pieces to cover; do this very slowly so the cake absorbs the jello liquid..

Obviously, you can either make a few of these or just set the rest of the jello into a jello-only mold..

Once the cake has absorbed the jello & is setting on the bottom of the dish refrigerate until jello is completely set. Top with dollup FF Kool Whip or SF ReddiWhip or NF vanilla yogurt when serving..

This is a variation of a recipe my grandma used to make with jello & angel food cake when we were kids...

Fresh strawberries are coming back into season; slice them thin & after the cake has soaked up the jello so it sinks put the sliced strawberries on it so they set in the jello as well..

Other "best" alternatives: thinly sliced banana, pears, diced peaches, pitted cherris...but avoid pineapple as it tends to keep the jello from setting up...

That seriously sounds wonderful. I definitely think I will try this tonight!!!..

How would this count? a dessert, a fruit and what would the pkg of sf jello count as?..

Thanks for the great idea! I saw the post this morning and had to turn the old computer back on to get it..

Going to make it right now. I LOVE the jello poke cake!..

The jello would count as a free food if you use 20 calories worth...

Pound cake = 1 dessert.

~ 3/4c SF jello liquid is ~ 30 cal (1 1/2 free foods).

Ex: ~ 4 strawberries (I save from afternoon snack; it's about 1/2 of a fruit serving).

Topping: shhhh.... I ignore it's such a small amount; since I use NF vanilla yogurt ~ 1/4c I could also save a part of afternoon snack..

I also have a recipe for a sf jello poke cake on my recipe board. I make it all the time in the summer because the kids love it! I frost it with ff cool whip and garnish it with berries..

Here it is for anyone who wants a from scratch version. It's also great for pot lucks!.

Made the following version yesterday and just finished the first one tonight...it has become my new favorite. I used:.

SF lemon jello.

Golden pound cake.

Frozen blueberries (not required to be frozen but had them in the freezer & did not bother to defrost).

Put the blueberries in the bottom of a 1c ramekin.

Broke golden pound cake into thirds & stuffed them in side by side.

Poured freshly made lemon jello until filled to the top.

Set in fridge overnite/day til PM dessert.

Topped with a little NF vanilla yogurt..

Next time I'm going to try adding a couple tablespoons lemon juice to the jello mixture in place of a couple T of the water. It was so nice & tangy with the lemon & the cake but I WANT IT MORE!..

Mmmm Christina thank you I will try that....

I made my first one today Idk if I can wait for the jello to set hehe it looks so yummy I did mine in a mini one serving loaf pan and I didn't read the post before I did it and I just crumbled the cake on the bottom the jello will probably hold it well o yeah and I used a lil one serving can of peaches and peach jello mmm.

I ate it! IT WAS SOOOOOOOO YUMMY AND SOOOO FILLING!!!..
