There are a wide variety of factors that can affect your loss or lack of loss. Many members, PamSB especially, didn't lose the first week or two and went on to lose a lot of weight. If you list what you're eating in a day, how much to lose, etc. we can give better advice..
Thank you for the advice! I've been off of sodas for around 3 years now...woohoo! But I can say I am bad when it comes to drinking enough water. Though, I did realize after logging everything I ate last week that I need to drink more water. I went from drinking about 24 ounces daily to 40 oz. I'm hoping that will help a little bit once I get enough intake of water..
As far as what I'm eating I eat in a day here's an example:.
1/2 cup egg whites.
6-8 slices of raw mushrooms.
A pinch of shredded cheddar cheese.
16 oz water.
Mid Morning Snack:.
NS Blueberry Muffin.
NS 1 container Black Bean Soup.
16 oz water.
NS cheese puffs.
NS thick crust pizza.
10-16 oz water..
Where is the REST of your food, woman?! No wonder you aren't losing weight. You gotta eat..
Please tell us that isn't ALL you ate!..
You're not eating enough! You're missing a fruit from breakfast & your fruit from your afternoon snack, along with your afternoon protein. You're also not eating any vegetables during the day with the exception of your 6 - 8 slices of mushrooms in the morning. You need to have at least 2 veggies at lunch & 3 with dinner..
Here's a typical day for me & weight wise, I'm roughly in the same class as you are with my height & weight - not technically overweight, but a BMI that's much too high!.
Mid Morning Snack:.
Apple Slices & Chobani Vanilla Yogurt.
Decent size Salad w/Hard Boiled Egg (protein).
Apple or other fruit.
FF String Cheese.
A HUGE serving of veggies - takes up my whole plate in most cases.
I drink water all day - just keep refilling my 20 oz bottle. I also keep Sugar Free Jello on hand in case I get hungry & need a snack as they are 10 calories each & I can have up to 3 a day if I want. HTH!.
You definitely need to eat more!..
As Pam said, you need to eat more!!! You are starving your body, it needs fruits and veggies!..

Just as an example, here is my typical day for a Woman who is on the 1250-1350 calorie a day plan (under 100 pounds to lose). If you have over 100 pounds to lose, you add even more food (carbs with breakfast and dinner and a fruit to lunch):.
NutriSystem Low-Fat Granola mixed with 3/4 cup blueberries and 8 oz yogurt for a Breakfast Parfait (Entree/Fruit/Dairy or Protein) The Granola can be eaten first with 1/2 cup milk (that is not the Dairy/Protein serving, it goes with the cereal), then have the fruit and yogurt an hour or so later (I have 7-8 "meals" a day doing this)..
NutriSystem Lunch Entree or Bar, Small Can Sodium-Free V-8 Juice or a HUGE Mixed Green Salad with FF dressing, 1/2 cup FF Cottage Cheese or a small, 80 calorie can of Tuna (Entree/Salad/Protein or Dairy). I usually have the salad, then the bar about an hour later..
Small Apple and String Cheese (Fruit/Protein or Dairy).
NutriSystem Entree (different one each night, I usually only repeat an entree 2-3 times a month, but you can have the same thing more frequently if you like), 2 Servings of Veggies (usually broccoli and cauliflower for me, but any veggies you like...remember, however, that peas and corn are carbs, not veggies), Mixed Green Salad with 0 Calorie Walden Farms Dressing.
NutriSystem Double Chocolate Almond Cookie or Dessert Bar with 1 Teaspoon Peanut Butter (Dessert/Fat)..
Raw celery and zucchini to munch on if needed, SF Popsicle, SF Jello, also..
You can eat up to 3 servings of "free foods" of under 20 calories each per day. Even 1 cup of air-popped popcorn works..
I generally keep on hand a bag of Mixed Greens salad, a box of sliced mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli, string cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, apples, bananas and frozen blueberries..
You will also need to drink at least 64 oz. of water a day...
I'm with everybody else here. You need more food! Since you're not eating enough your body is holding on to the extra weight because it will need it for energy. Then since you're not drinking enough water in the first place, and also not eating fruits and veggies (FILLED with water) your body is also retaining water because you're dehydrated. Drink more water, eat more food, watch the weight fall off..
Her poor body thinks she is trying to STARVE it to it's utter death and is holding on to every ounce for dear life!..
I know...I think comes down to being scared to eat too much. I got myself into this boat, and I figured that cutting back would take it off quicker. But it does make sense to eat enough to sustain weightloss. This week I will do better to reach my caloric intake goal...

Oh yeah fat free jello is a god-send! We have 5 calorie version here, add a little whip creme and it's still only about 15 cals. You can't beat that!!!..

I don't either. I have the mini fridge in my office stocked with it! And I can always get at least 2 coupons for it before I go grocery shopping, so I am always buying at least 2 at a time. The Black Cherry is my absolute favorite!..
