Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could give you help..
Template are often built on old versions of osc and on top of that hacked severely so installing contributions is difficult..
Then to crown it all when you can't get in contact with your template provider for support people on this forum are not keen to provide unpaid support for a commercial product..
But I could be wrong....
Hmmmm, so by the sounds of it, it's best to leave it without a Template... it just looks so bland without one though.
You could create your own template using the Simple Template System add-on for osCommerce (STSv4.5.8)..
I agree with the comments above but would also like to add:.
Hi, that Simple Template System sounds like it could work well. Thanks!!..
I'm new to oscommerce so hello.
I have been running vBulletin for some time so am familiar with that but not so sure about oscommerce. I was looking at buying one of the templates from template monster but I was wondering how easy it is to modify those templates. I have seen one or 2 that I like but I will need to add a latest news section on the homepage and change a few other things slightly. Will this be possible and if so will be be an easy enough job? From my vBulletin experience I presume it is possible but I just want to make sure before I shell out loads of cash on a template..
If you buy a TM template and wish to do custom modifications they (most likely) won't support you, and they aren't supported here either..
So you'd be "flying solo" (unless you can wrangle, cajole, threaten, or pay someone to help you)...
