Hi wheni added to it it said NAVBAR_TITLE but I want to call it what I want and last time I added a link to a page I used this code below.

<! first content addition //><a href="" target="_self"><br> contact..

The code you posted would be used for an addition to a place like one of the infoboxes to me..

If you disect the code I posted,.

Gets it's value in.

Define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'Contact Us');.

You can do it like this:.

$breadcrumb->add('Your link text here', tep_href_link(FILENAME_CONTACT_US));.

But I think a definition in a language file is better coding...

Hi right got the text I want there but it goes to contact us I want it to go to a web link but opens on the same page.

Ps why do you think a language file would be better..

Comment #4

Putting it in a language file just follows the pattern that osC is written in..

If your shop isn't multi-lingual it may not make any diff (other than keeping you aware of the osC structure)..

It's your shop, you're the webmaster - Do it like you want..

Further dissecting the code I posted this part:.

That part makes a link to your contact us page because:.

Is the osC function used to create links within your shop..

2. And.

Is defined in.

Define('FILENAME_CONTACT_US', 'contact_us.php');.

Can only be used to link to pages.

The confines of your osC install.

If you want the link to point ot a page (or site).

The confines of your osC install.

, code it in this fashion:.

$breadcrumb->add('Your link text here', '');..
