Anyone else experiencing problems with the food and the heat? At least that's what I'm blaming it on when I got a shipment where all the baked goods seemed stale. Also, all the icing is melted off, etc...

My last delivery was when it was 90+ degrees here in Montana and anything with chocolate was melted! The chocolate "kiss" type candy was melted into a thin sheet of chocolate...Lol..

Nutrisystem can't control the weather, I guess!..

Yes....live in Las Vegas, with over 100 degree temps...my first delivery two weeks ago all of the chocolate was melted....I was at home when UPS came to the door, but the box had sat ALL DAY in the UPS truck, all chocolates were runny like water. I put them immediately in the fridge, they are now hard and I will still eat them. I won't order any more chocolates until Fall...

That's interesting- I hadn't heard about the heat affecting baked goods. I ordered all my chocolate in May so I wouldn't have to deal with it melted. Sorry but it doesn't taste the same to me..

I am getting a delivery this week and will have to see if my baked goods taste odd. If they do, I'm sending them back and I'll wait till September to order again. Maybe I just won't order from Nutrisystem in the summer at all. In May, I just processed my auto delivery twice a week apart to stock up for summer...

In my last shippment, not only was the chocolate stuff melted, but most of the food that came in boxes were crushed. I sent Nutrisystem an e-mail to tell them how I felt about this, but they have yet to get back to me. It has been over a week since my e-mail...

It is better if you call them about what happened. I did the other day due to damage and I am being sent more food in return...

I just started the plan and received my shipment last week. Here is PA is was well over 107 with the heat index and everything that was chocolate or iced had to go in the fridge for a bit. I guess you can't fault Nutrisystem however it is nice to know for future orders. Thanks!..

I'm in Arizona! Yeah, HOT! So, all of my chocolate goes straight into the fridge (and stays there) - everything was pretty much okay, though. I was surprised...

In May I got the mushy melted chocolate for the first time so I changed my delivery address to the local UPS center about 10 minutes away. Now it arrives there and I go pick it up instead of it sitting on the truck all day and getting to me melted and at 7pm! If you have an UPS center near you, or have one of the UPS stores near you, they can ship it to that address and HOLD it for PICKUP! I'm keeping mine like that until October and then I'll switch it back to the house again!..

Some of my chocolates came in aliitle on the soft side because my shipment did sit outside for a few hours. I just put them in the fridge and they firmed up and have tasted fine. I too am not going to order any chocolates until the weather calms down. But no fault of NS. I hope you still can enjoy your foods...
