Got a quick question: Has anyone used Nutrisystem if so what did you think good or bad? Many thanks for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. I'm sure it's out there somewhere just can't seem to find the answer. Can you drink energy drinks on NS? I only use the Rockstar No Carb to get myself ready for work at night. 20 cal and no carbs per 16 oz. Just wondering if there is any hidden ingredients I need to be aware of...

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

This would be a great question for the Dietitian Forum or the Food Talk..

I tend to stay away from energy drinks since so many of them have huge amounts of caffeine which my body is no longer used to. I can do without the shakes and the racing heart...

Caffein is fine - the counselors are full of it..

Coffee is zero cals and it helps one poo. drink that and lots of it...

Water is irrelevant to weight loss. You don't need to get the 8 cups in and you don't need to worry about what counts for the 8 cups..

I "feel" better when I'm drinking water, but I know thats because in pre-NS days I was walking around most of the time dehydrated..

For me, beyond just rehydrating my body, the quantity of water I'm drinking is for filling my belly and driving away hunger. I do also think the 64oz quantity is just a rule of thumb. I drink way more than that now, and just prefer how I feel when I'm drinking lots of water...
