Got a quick question: Has anyone used "Miracleburn" Dukan Diet pills, do they work ? Thanks in advance for any comment. Second question of mine... I came with up this today, and it tasted so good, I wolved the whole thing down!.

Crust layer.

1/4 cup Krusteaz pancake mix.

1/4 cp butter milk.

1 Tbsp egg beaters.

Ts vanilla.

Ts baking soda.

Pumpkin filling:.

2/3 cup solid packed pumpkin.

2 TB evaporated skim milk.

2 TB eggbeaters.

1 1/2 TB brown splenda.

1/4 ts cinnamon extract (liquid!).

1/4 ts vanilla extract.

1/8 ts ground ginger.

1/8 ts pumpkin pie spice.

1 TB Krusteaz mix.

Heat oven to 400F degrees. Lightly grease or spray single-serve spring form. Make the crust batter and the filling in separate bowls. Mix batter ingredients, and fill batter in a small, sprayed spring form, and bake at 400F for 5 min. For the pumpkin filling, mix (potentially in food processor) pumpkin and other ingredients until it is a really smooth, creamy texture. Fill on top of pre-baked cake layer.

Let cool to room temperature before serving..

1 breakfast entree + 1 fruit (240 kcal)..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could answer your Dukan Diet question..

Isn't she just so talented?.

I'm thinking somewhere there is a culinary school training somewhere in her past (which would be a wonderful thing) because her food ALWAYS looks wonderful and those items I've been able to make already have ALWAYS tasted wonderful as well...

Oh, no.

I am completely self taught by watching a LOT of FoodTV a few years back.... so, I am really not cooking for a very long time, but I always liked good food. Now I just try to also make it skinny... mainly inspired by christina gray on the scrumptious/skinny part..

Wow, looks GREAT!!! I'll make this for Turkey day...

I live in the Midwest and have never heard of Krusteaz. Is it the same as Bisquik?..

Thanks so much for another great recipe. There was a void when Christina stopped posting so much but so many are taking up where she left off! I ,too, love your recipe blog! You make every dish so appealing....

Krusteaz is somewhat like Bisquik. I believe, but since I don't have it in front of me can't be positive, it has a bit more fiber and protein than Bisquik. But basically it is another pancake mix - you just want to use what you can find and try to get one that has as much protein, fiber and lowest fat possible. When I use one of these mixes, I usually add 1 TBSP of AnyWhey (protein), which adds about 23 cal and 6g protein. If you don't have AnyWhey ( carries it) add 1 TBSP of soy flour - doessn't add as much protein but it does help a bit..

I too love when "Skinny_Jns" posts her recipes - they are very creative and look wonderful. The ones I have made have tasted like heaven - she gets a great big GOLD star from me..

I also know that Chris's cookbook should be ready for "mailing" in about 3 weeks or so. She just got the new proof of the cover (which she really loved much better) and sent it off for production earlier this week. I can't wait for it to be in her hands and then shortly into mine..

Thanks so much ! You guys make me blush.

I made this yesterday. It was very good. I made it in two pans because I could tell it was going to be thick. That way I could have one now and one later..

I used Aunt Jemima Whole Wheat pancake mix. It had more fiber than the Krusteaz mix my grocery store carries..

Thanks so much for a great recipe. I look forward to seeing more..
