First off, Has anyone started working out/Dukan Dieting for swimsuit season yet? Many thanks for any response. My other question... I didn't like the look/consitency of the cheesy potatos in the cup, so I got an idea based on what some of you do with the meatloaf & potatos dinner - I cut a green pepper in half, stuffed it with the cheesy potatos, put some FF cheese on top, and put it in the toaster oven on 350 until the cheese was melted and the pepper was getting soft..

MUCH better!.

Thanks to everyone that shares recipes and gets me *excited* about making different foods on this plan!..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably know..

I add some grated carrot, chopped celery and green onion and then put the mixture in lettuce wraps..

Nummy...

Thanks for all the ideas for using the cheesy potatoes. I will look at them differently now. I like them in the cup but a change would be nice as well...

I find these to be one of the most filling lunches available. LOVE the idea of stuffing a green pepper, I may have to switch around lunch and dinner one day just to do this!..

There's another thread someone had posted about turning them into potato cakes. I think it said to add 1/4c of eggbeaters, but I usually put 1 beaten egg to serve as my protein then 'fry' em in a nonstick skillet. for my own personal preference I also added some chopped onion and tomato then 'fried' em on a pam-coated grill. on the side I had some ff sour cream for dipping. yum yum!!..

I tried making the potato cakes, and mine would not get crispy in the middle. They were still 'mush'. Not good. I don't think there's any hope with me and those mashed potatoes. Yuck!..

I add two fat-free hot dogs to mine ....sometimes with a little bit of ketchup on the side. I love them...

I made the Cheesy Potatoes for lunch today and they came out like very, very thick cement..

Not right! Does anyone know how much water "no more than 1 inch from the rim of the cup" actually is (1/3 cup, 1/2 cup, etc.)? ~Thanks, LeAnn..

Since they are mashed potatoes, you can add either more hot water or a teaspoon or two of FF milk until you get the consistency right. The only real mistake is making the consistendy too thin! So add sparingly...

Duh! Why didn't I think of that? LOL!.

Thanks! ~LeAnn..

I had Cheesy Potatoes for the first time today. I added 2 Hebrew National 97% Fat Free Hot Dogs.... YUMMY!!!!!..

I did stuffed peppers last night and used my cajun chx and rice as the filling, mixed with a little ff sour cream. It might have been better than the real thing... also added a little tabasco. Hot peppers allegedly speed up metabolic rate- maybe true- worth a shot, eh?..

Jonie's Potato Salad. I added in some extra celery, onions, jalapeno, dry mustard, garlic and heavy on the pepper. It was tasty, and really masked that instant potato flavor..

Jonie's Potato Salad.

Ingredients.

1 Dukan Diet Cheesy Homestyle Potatoes.

1 T chopped onion.

1 T dill relish.

2 T fat-free mayonnaise.

1 T yellow mustard.

1 boiled egg.

1 T chopped celery.

Directions.

1. Prepare potatoes as directed on the package and let set while preparing other ingredients.

2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl and then add the potatoes.".

LET CHILL TO MELD FLAVORS...

Hmmm... I ordered some of these. Haven't tried them yet. Your potato salad looks yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe!..

I like to cook them as directed, after cooked mix in chives and some crispy turkey bacon, then top with ICBINB spray and FF shredded cheese -melted...heaven!..

I love em too. Just wanna give a hint and tell y'all that I use one of those little "hot shot" water thingys.. put my cup right underneath and put in enough water to get the consistency I like. I usually add my own dried chives and vegetarian bacon bits like bacos. But I love that water heating thing, it doesn't even take a whole minute to get hot...

Sometimes I make mine into Loaded Potato soup. Make it on the stove and add FF chicken broth instead of the water (need to add a little at at time until it's the consistency you like...I usually end up using about 1 cup) , a little FF cheddar and some broccoli florets...YUM!..

I like mine served on top of a Boca burger for my protien with a side of broccoli. Feels much like a cheat!..
