Quick question: Has anyone got any Nutrisystem recipes with points Value? Thanks in advance for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. I am going to a dinner party this weekend (4 people) and am in charge of bringing the dessert. Can anyone help with a recipe that uses non Nutrisystem food but I can still enjoy AND SERVE TO OTHERS??.

Any ideas will be well appreciated!..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably know..

I have a recipe. but eat in moderation..

Take one box of cake mix (spice is nice) and add a can of pumpkin, then bake according to the box. It is low in fat, but also low in protein and high in sugar from the cake mix...

I've actually had this before NS. I've never made it since being on Nutrisystem so I don't know the stats..

Strawberry Pretzel Cake.


2 cups crushed pretzels.

3/4 cup margarine, melted (ICBINB?).

3 Tablespoons sugar.

1 (8 ounces) FF cream cheese softened.

1 (9 ounces) Cool Whip.

1 cup sugar / Splenda.

1 (6 ounces) pkg. SF strawberry jello.

2 cups boiling water.

20 ounces unsweetened frozen strawberries.


Mix crushed pretzels, margarine, and sugar together. Press into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Combine cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar. Mix well.

Mix jello with water then add frozen berries..

Stir until berries soften and jello start to thicken. Gently pour or spread mixture on top of cream cheese layer. Refrigerate...

That sounds like a great. I would not tell anyone it uses sugar free or fat free anything

There is also the pumpkin pie recipe using fat free and sugar free ingredients if you want something for fall...

Holiday (any day!) Chocolate Truffles!.

Hi everyone! I'm a chocolate lover and am always looking for and trying chocolate recipes that are Nutrisystem friendly. This recipe for chocolate truffles is an easy, any day favorite of mine. Enjoy!.


3 tablespoons fat free cream cheese.

2 packets of Splenda (I like mine a tad bit sweeter, so I use 2.5 packets).

1 teaspoon rum extract.

2 tablespoons cocoa powder (divided in 2).

Reserve 1 tbsp and set aside. Mix all other ingredients together well; put in the fridge for about 15 minutes. Remove from fridge and roll mixture into 6 balls. Roll the cream cheese balls in the reserved cocoa powder (I add a bit of the extra Splenda to the reserved cocoa powder for a bit sweeter flavor)..

This is one dairy serving..

Other suggestions are to change the flavoring like vanilla, peppermint or whatever you like....

Sounds like a party item to me!!..

Just remember low calorie doesn't necessarily mean Nutrisystem friendly because certainly all the boxed cakes and even some low calorie recipes call for white flour which isn't low GI..

No, Suzan!! I didn't mean not to post or share it. Just that sometimes people on Nutrisystem read the recipes and think they're 'on plan' and they might not be..

People follow the program in different ways. Plus, lots of people here are on maintenance and are looking for low calorie desserts even to bring to a function or something..

I'd love to have the recipe myself but I'm a terrible baker so it'd be a waste of time for me...

My first thought was strawberry short cake. It's only three ingredients. Strawberries, angel food cake, and whipped cream. I think angel food cake is usually fat free. Use low fat or no fat whipped cream and your good to go...

This recipe was a big hit at a dinner party we had. Low in Calories. Take one box of angel food cake mix (dry), add one can of crushed pineapple with the juice and mix thoroughly, pour into a 9 x 13 pan sprayed with pam. I think I baked about 30 minutes. Not exactly sure, I do not have the recipe in front of me. Just watch until lightly brown on top.

Dessert - makes 4 servings.

Chocolate Fudge Silk Mousse Parfaits!.

This is super easy to make!!.

Take (4) 8-9 oz plastic drinking cups and set on counter. Take 1/2 cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch granola cereal and put half into the bottom of the cups. Next take Walden Farms chocolate dip and put a "dollop" into each cup, spreading to cover the granola. In a bowl mix one box of Jello SF FF instant chocolate fudge pudding and 1 1/2 cup of FF milk vigourously with a wire whisk until thick. Stir in 1 cup of FF Cool whip until completely blended. Put half of pudding mix into cups.

Cover each cup with foil and put in freezer at least 5 hours. When ready to eat, carefully run hot water on the outside of cup and it will easily slide out onto a plate!! Tastes like ice cream pie!! 170 cals each, 9 g protein and 0.6g fat!!.

This can be done with ANY jello pudding mix flavor!!! Just be sure to get the instant SF FF kind! I also made up four banana cream pie flavor and used the WF caramel dip instead of chocolate! It's very "pretty" and perfect for entertaining because it looks so elegant and yet totally ON PLAN!!..

I don't. I've never added it up and divided it by the number of slices..

As a note, leave off the chocolate chips to make it lower fat since the sugar free chips have a bit of fat. And do NOT put the chips in the mix. The pieces will fall apart (I made this mistake)..

I've never made it nonfat but will be modifying it to be lower fat this Thanksgiving with nonfat cream cheese, low-carb chocolate soy milk instead of cream, and egg whites instead of whole eggs...

Glad you liked it!! I made up about two dozen of them when I went to a BBQ this past summer. I didn't tell anyone it was "diet" until after they ate it. NO ONE believed me that it was diet except the hostess because I was on the phone with her while I was making them!!! It's rich and creamy and ohhhh so satisfying! Oh, and the Walden Farms dips get solid when frozen so it's like chunks of chocolate when you're eating it!!..

This is very satisfying if you have a sweet tooth!.

1/2 up nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt.

2 Stawberries, stems removed and sliced.

2 tablespoon light chocolate syrup (calorie-reduced syrup).

Place the frozen yogurt in a small bowl I use Wine Goblets ..

Sprinkle the slices strawberries arount the yogurt..

Squeeze the light syrup on top..

Makes 1 Serving.

Calories 157 glyemic index Low Fat 0.5 gram..
