My first question is: GoDaddy.com discount codes from TV?.

My next question is: Http://sedo.com/links/showhtml.php3?...25&language=us.

Whilst I applaud Sedo's half hearted attempt to focus on probably a large part of the future of domaining they really must get their act together and actually know what they are talking about.

They are advocating the use offor China http://images.google.cn/images?hl=zh...=1&sa=N&tab=wi.

Eg; China.porcelain - that is what means- porcelain - not China.

To date you cannot sell Chinese, Japanese, Thai etc HostGator names via Sedo, they do not have the capability - they are putting the cart before the horse by making such statements.

Come on Sedo get your act together, the biggest revolution in domaining is gathering steam and still you procastinate and if you do have to make statements at least make sure the content is correct- you are supposedly the market leaders..

Your question was: GoDaddy.com discount codes from TV?.

So let me guess they don't have Chinese staff yet..

Sometimes you just feel that it must be part of some elaborate piss take. The only baffling thing is, why?..

Maybe the Chinese registry do have plans to release such a TLD purely for porcelain websites?..

If they did they would have it on a plate..

I have .jp domains listed at Sedo..

Why would they not be able to sell them?..

Have you checked?: "Sale not possible".

"At present it is not possible to list this HostGator for sale on Sedo. The HostGator contains characters which, although recognised by our HostGator parking program, are not yet supported within our bidding system. ".

You can list but you cannot sell..

Thats sad. There should have been a warning while entering the domains. Whats the use of listing them?.

Do they at least sell english characters with Asian TLDs such as .JP?..

Not really, this has been going on for years.

We learned to live without Escrow and probably save ourselves nearly $20K!..

Maybe he had a long night of drinking and was praying to "the porcelain god" all morning before writing this...

So when can we start registering .porcelain?.

I might grab a few.

Any idea what the pre-reg cost for dot porcelain?..

Interestingly I have heard that an idn.cn just sold for upper $x,xxx although atm I cannot give name or exact price.

Now that is progress..

Hi All,.

This was totally my bad (just found this thread randomly). First, I would like to clarify that this article was not following a night of heavy drinking, although I appreciate the sentiment. Ironically, I have spent time in Taiwan studying a small bit of Chinese, and this translation was courtesy of dictionary.com. The character didn't look right to me then, and now I see it certainly wasn't.

So, I would like to take a moment to humbly apologize for this blunder, and clarify that the possibility for the extension could, as a very general example, be ".," or something similar.

Take care all!.

Always,.

Keith..

Well, we guessed that you must have been on some sensory imparing substances but did not leap to the conclusion it was alchohol.

Perhaps, now that Sedo is in a more business like mood, you can inform us when you expect your operations to be fully IDNA compliant?..

Yes, I have 2 interesting IDN's for grabs, Chinese & Japanese...

I think they sorted it already.

Search cnnic.cn.

CDN WHOIS Data.

Go on query.

Domain Name.

..

.cn.

.cn.

Concur with RD's query.

"Perhaps, now that Sedo is in a more business like mood, you can inform us when you expect your operations to be fully IDNA compliant?"..
