Your question was: Gained all the weight back during Nutrisystem.
Wow thank you so much, practically made me cry with that advice..
Paulina, here is something I posted on another thread..
Now at the end I was talking about that particular thread, but the advice is still the same. And you will have lots of friends for the asking here on the boards.
I suggest that you find a challenge group to join. These are often easier to "break" into than some of the long term support groups. They are used to adding in new members all the time. They will help to enourage you and give you some accountability for what you are doing with your program. Some challenges you have to join as they are just starting up. Others let you join in at any time.
But sometimes there are some in the general forum. You are welcome to join the "challenge" I'm on. It's the Springing Onward and Downward challenge and it can be found in the General Forum. Here's the address: http://boards.members.nutrisystem.co...d.php?t=173592.
Another idea is to be sure you are writing down the foods you are eating every day, even those when you are off plan. Just knowing that you are going to be journaling it tends to make us think twice before we put it in our mouths.
You CAN do this and you WORTH doing this for...
Just wanted to add one thing. Remember to be focusing on the lifestyle change you need to be making, not just losing the weight. When you hit goal you have to have changed your way of thinking and eating, otherwise you won't stay there.
Good luck! You can and will do this!..
Ditto to what's already been said. Don't beat yourself up! Try to learn from what happened so that the next time you might have a similarly busy time, you are prepared. (Buy ready-made salads, have portable add-in such as string cheese and yogurt that you can, if necessary, carry with you in an insulated bag, build in short study breaks for a walk around the block, etc.) Then, move on. Also, if it is any consolation, unless you ate an extra 28,000 calories (8x3500) in 5 days, much of the gain is probably water weight linked to increased carbs and sodium. Hang in there! You can do this!..
Not to mention water retention due to stress... stress of the finals and stress from knowing you were off plan...
