And my god, I pee every hour!.

Is everyone the same?..

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

I'm following the plan and eating a lot of greens and other fiber and I have my fat too. and I also drink at least the 8 glasses..which is why i'm peeing so much. maybe I have a small bladder.....

It takes awhile for the bladder to adjust to the additional volume of water you are drinking. Plus, fat gets broken down into water and CO2 so that adds to it - in a good way..

Add Miralax (I get it from Walmart pharmacy dept. OTC, it's cheaper)to any of your drinks, it's tasteless and works great. Your pipes will be running fine in no time! I have 1/2 a dose every day...

I would give a call to your Dr before I take anything for your issue. I'm certainly not an expert in this field, but I have read that your body could possibly become dependent on anything you take that has a laxative effect. Are you feeling bloated and uncomfortable? If not, your body will probably adjust just fine in it's own time, without any supplement, especially if you're eating lots of veggies, fruit, and your water. After all, you're "going," but just in a different way..

Look at what you were eating before NS, and if it is very different from what you're eating now, that will explain the change...

Do stool softeners and that may help..

Constipation is a biggy- a biggy!! Very common for alot of people..

Hopefully your body will adapt and you will get normal or more normal. It is all over the board for folks..

IF you have stomach pains, fever, really bloated and hard stomach, vomitting- then get to Dr right away..

I went 3 weeks without anything happening and was prety scared. Turned out my body was absorbing everything and there wasn't anything to expel. I took laxatives and even drank a bottle of that liquid for colonoscopies- NOTHING. You can be plugged up too and yet little pebbles come out. So keep an eye on it..

The water will help and again hopefully things will get better for you. This is a change for you.

And.

Your body! It takes time to adjust...

Thanks all! I don't have a fever. I don't think it's constipation because it's not a struggle to go. if it doesn't get better i'll call a dr...

This happened to me. I was already struggling a little bit before I started. My doc told me to take metamusil or beneful or another sort of natural fibre suppliment every day. He said it was harmless (I have IBS so this is a huge concern for me). Both he and my specialist told me that it is very hard to get in ALL the fibre in a day that you should. They also said that the fibre in fruits and veggies is different than those you get in grains.

I was taking the fibre twice a day, eating more fruits and veggies than I ever had, having a probiodic yogurt every day, excercising (which also helps) and still nothing. I had to use a laxative every few days for the first two weeks. Just this week, my third week I finally feel "normal" again with just the fibre. Once normal you can start reducing the amount of fibre you take in slowly..

I agree with always seeing your Dr. for advice, but this was my journey ; )..
