I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..
HI Fellow Nurse.
I am a Maternity Nurse which I LOVE!!! and also teach childbirth classes. I have been out of work with 2 stress fractures that arent healing ( and you know nurses cant sit down for 12 hours) so I havent worked the wholeNutrisystemfood into my 12 hour shofts yet. I work day shift so it shouldnt be too hard as the hospital has a nice cafeteria with a huge salad bar..
Good luck to you on your journey !!!!!!.
I bring all my food and eat at work, and eat vegge when I get home. I don't get home til like 8pm...I want to start going to the gym after work...
Hope you have a speady recoverary!..
Try being an RN with a Masters Degree in Health and Wellness Promotion! That alone has motivated me to shape up and slim down!! Nothing like a chubb-ette giving you diet and fitness advice LOL.
! I DID NOT want to be that person, andNutrisystemhas helped me meet my goals and stay there..
I was a NICU nurse for a long time..
I'm almost a nurse. I finish my pre-grad on March 3rd and write the registration exam May 15th..
Then I'll be an RPN..
I'm doing 12 hour shifts on the in patient unit of my local Hospital(which has expressed an interest in sponsoring me for my temp license). 12 hour nights has me screwed up a bit since I'm so hungry in the day and then running all night..
I want to be a healthy weight for similar reasons-to not be a hypocrite-so people will take me seriously when I give health advice..
My profile pic is me inside a giant colon. With a polyp over my shoulder. It had diverticuli, cancer-The works! If you ever get a chance to tour a giant colon-do it...
Another Nurse here, I am a Certified Diabetes Educator and it that is also my reason for wanting to be a better example for my patients. They often ask me if I have diabetes and the answer is "no, but I have been told that I had prediabetes, then after carefully watching diet and getting more activity I have been successful in keeping it away".
I have not been satisfied however, with the fact that I have still remained overweight. So,here I am. I also have patients ask about various diets and programs. This is one that I can give good reviews to them on..
So, far I have completed my first month and I have lost an average of 1 pound a week, not a record breaking rate, but it is safe and I know it will stay off better. I also have noticed I feel more energetic even at the end of my long days..
I am currently working on my MSN Educator degree at night so I need that energy..
Glad to meet other nurses!.
Hi I have been a nurse since 1974. I have worked in almost every type of unit. I work nights presently as a Resource Nurse. I float and am moved from unit to unit as the staffing needs change..
My goal is to get off some of my BP meds. As I get older I want to give my knees a break by loosing weight. My avatar is now a before picture since I am almost halfway to goal...
