This stolen domain is not first and not last, I think..
All the data of the thief is now uncovered upto his home address and home phone number...
Well all you can do is contact the registrar!..
Persistence is your only ally, Boris. Make sure you've notified the registrar this.
Happened, and keep at it!..
I agree, the best thing to do is talk to his registar and hope they help you get your domain back...
Did I miss something, or did someone not explain why only one domain was "stolen" by another? And (out of presumably many more domain names to choose from) instead of taking dot coms or dot nets, this "thief" took only a... dot org? Huh? Something smells kinda fishy here!..
Contact the registrar and see if they can do anything about it. Maybe you could show orginal credit card used to pay for the domain, unless you paid for it on Paypal.
Paypal by the way won't get involved in a case like this...
That's good to hear! Congradulations on the safe return of your domain...
Glad you got your name back Boris, but could you share the name of the person that removed it from your account so that All will know not to do business with this thief?.
Yeah. Please let us know the name of the thief.
Also the suspense is still uncovered. If he had access to your account why he only took a .org? By the way it's good that he only took one .org instead of other domains, but why? Why this name. I think he was in love with this name or something!!!.
Emtpy headed people usually do things like this...
He probably only took one domain because he was simply exercising his hacking skills...
I think it is good it is the only domain that was stolen.
I wish you luck with trying to recover it.
Also, thanks for the heads up on it being stolen.
It has been returned, but we still want to know the name of the thief..
Stolen? Then returned? Topic is closed? What's the story?.
When you post something like this an an open forum, especially accusing someone of theft I think you owe us the details of the drama...no? What was the point of posting? This was not in Warnings and Alerts forum so I am confused...
Did creating the post assist you in getting the domain back? Is that why you made the post? Did he see this and get scared?.
Enquiring minds want to know.....
(At least how they got access to your account and/or why they stole that name).
Ok. Here is the story:.
On June 1, the guygot an access to email of the registrant which was not me but the owner of the website.
On June 6 the domain appeared for sale for $150 at several forums. So I noticed it and warned forums members. Then I offered the guy to return the domain. At the same time we started tracing his activities, got logs from forums and traced hime till his home and uncovered his name, address and phone. After that I wrote complains to the registrar, mail services he had accounts with. At the same time the other poeple from the portal had prepared official complains to police and securities.
On June 7, the guy contacted me and returned the domain. So we stopped the treatment by mutual agreement...
Glad you got the Domain back. You stilll havent told us the Name of the theif ...
