My first question is Does Nutrisystem have fast results? Hoping for any response. My other question... I was just playing around online and was curious about using large amounts of Splenda...I like quite a bit in my Greek Yogurt and I discovered that 1/2 a cup of Splenda has 48 calories! NOT good when you're trying to lose weight and they tell you it is the 'Zero Calorie' sugar alternative. Just though other people might like to know this too!..

Of course! but... you might wanna make sure and wait for another member here to confirm my answer as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Nutrisystem guys because they can assist you better...

Wow really confusing! This is what I lifted from their website re: the packets (which I use daily, I might add):.

"Each packet has less than 1 gram of carbohydrate and less than 5 calories, which meets FDA's standards for no-calorie foods.".

How can 'less than' be the same as 'no' calorie(s)?..

I wish it was more realistic on what they had to list as a serving. For Pam spray it's only 1/3 second. Who can spray that much? A spritz of anything shouldn't be considered a serving...

I figure the 1/3 of a second spray MIGHT cover the frying pan in my niece's Barbie kitchen set...

Wow! Thanks for the feedback ladies....I didn't know this type of thing went on and yep, government 'regulations"....VERY MISLEADING! I'm really glad I was curious enough to look it up because I've been adding calories all over the place and I had NO idea! I'm sure the weight will start dropping like crazy now that I've changed to it REALLY 0 calories??????..

And some of the entrees will fit in that frying pan...

I just operate on the assumption that anything which claims to be zero calories actually has 4 per serving, and count it as such...

So we should not use any butter subs. at all what is another suggestion for morning egg sandwich cause I use the I cant believe it's not butter spray..

Just use a very little bit, about 10 sprays, and you are fine...

Promise fat free and Smart Squeeze are both 5 calories a tablespoon - great on breakfast muffins!..

A few months ago the TODAY show had a food expert test some of the frozen entrees such as SmartOnes, Lean Cuisine, etc. Turns out that only 1 out of 12 items tested was anywhere near what they listed for fat/calorie content because they are allowed to be up to 20% off in their readings! How can that be allowed??? Made me realize why I had extra pounds I needed to get off because prior toNutrisystemI ate Lean Cuisine almost every day...

I feel cheated. I use a packet of splenda with my coffee and tea. I am going to have to reevaluate my use of it...

Im really glad you mentioned this, thats very frustrating..

Anyone know if stevia has calories? Ive been wanting to try it..

As I recall, some were over but many were under the calorie and fat grams listed on the package. Same goes for restaurant meals. People take the calorie counts as gospel when the food is generally not weighed and you have no guarantee that the chef on duty is cooking it the same way..

5 or 10 calories per day is not going to be an issue. The only thing with 0 calories is water...everything else has some calories in it..

When people posted recipes using 1/3 cup or more of splenda in a single serving (which is beyond belief to me), I have pointed out that the splenda granules has almost 100 calories per cup. Those calories are not clearly indicated on the bag...
