My first question is Does anyone know how often Nutrisystem does the free registration thing? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... Hi.

Loving my 2nd day, and wondering if someone can answer this question..

How many pounds of weight loss equal a smaller dress size? To go from a size 10 to an 8, how many pounds-ish is it?.

Any estimates?.

Ye, although you might want to make sure and wait for someone else to confirm it as I am not sure. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Nutrisystem guys because they can help better...

I have heard that 10 pounds equals 1 dress size, don't know how true that is, I haven't lost 10 pounds yet..

I've lost 12 lbs and while my pants are definitely looser, I don't think I'm ready to go down a pants size. I think that's because I was squeezing in uncomfortably before, though :-)..

Ive heard this as well, but I have noticed that for me it's about 20lbs for a drop in a jeans size. Which is weird, because I am very short, so you would think it would take less loss to go down a size...

For me it is about 20 lbs. per size...

I lost 20 lbs and have gone from a 10 to a 4 or 6...

It's all about body shape and where you lose. I've lost 12 pounds but it's all from my waist - chest and hips are the same still. It takes a bit over 20 pounds for me also...

I'm 6'1" and it takes me 30 to 35 pounds to change a size in most clothing. I focus on how my clothing fitsI've lost 13 and my waistbands are definitely more comfortable...

The heavier you are the more it takes per size. I was about 20 pounds per size in the womens sizes, now I'm at about 10 pounds a size in the misses clothing. 86 pounds is from a 24womens to a 14misses (about 5 1/2 sizes)...

In case any of y'alls husbands decide to do NS, the stats for men are that they gain 1" for every 10 pounds lost..

Jus sayin'..

It took about 25 pounds for me to move from a size 20 into an 18, and I am now just moving into a size 16...

I don't think there's any way you can say "10 lbs. per size" and expect that it'll apply to everyone, or even most..

Case in point: I'm 5'8" and have a friend who's about 5'3". Took me 35 lbs before I could even think about going down a size. We've both lost a total of 40 lbs. I've gone from a size 20 to a comfortable / loose 18. She started at a 14/16 and is down to an 8/10. I'm hoping now that I'm down quite a few pounds the sizes will start dropping more quickly!..

That's why I was so glad DH joinedNutrisystemwhen I did.

I started at a size 18 or even a 20. I am now wearing a 6 or 8 in pants. I had this same question when I first started and checked all over the internet for an answer. I wanted to buy a dream outfit for goal, I gave up on it as I saw sizes and bodies just varied too much. Although I guess if I look at my loss 64 lbs I am averaging about 10lbs a size. It took longer to get out of the W sizes then the smaller ones...

Yep so true, even at 228lbs I wore anywhere between 13 and 20, it also depends in how the clothes are made, I was wearing a 13 skirt and a 2x dress!..

I've lost 23 lbs. and may soon be ready to try a smaller size in pants, but I know that this is how I usually lose weight: my thighs get alot thinner while my waist only reduces gradually. I still have over 100 lbs. to lose, so it will be interesting to see what sizes I fit into on the way down!..

Well for me it depends.. it was near 20 as 20 lbs from now a 14 would have started to fit tight and now my 12's are lose but 10's are tight..

Depends on clothing too as Old Navy clothing fits smaller on me but Fashion Bug clothing I can almost fit into a 10...
