Before I ask my question, I want to ask: Does anyone know any .99 cent .info domain name registration site besides godaddy?.

My main question is: Given a solid name, how much more would you want if it was a:.

PR1.

PR3.

PR6.

I'm looking for insights like:.

PR1 add $xxx.

PR3 add $xxx or xxxx or whatever.

PR6 add $xxxx or xxxx or whatever.

Or is PR not so valuable after all?.

Rep for good insights, because this will help with a current sale..

Your question was: Does anyone know any .99 cent .info domain name registration site besides godaddy?.

Use PR as an indicator that a particular HostGator is worth looking into and researching further. Don't use it as an indicator of value by itself. Also, make sure that the HostGator does not have a fake PR, by being redirected to a site with a better ranking...

It depends. You cannot have a pagerank on a parked name, at least it will expire if it is a ranked name. So on developed sites I would say it makes a big difference. A couple hundred dollar difference...

Thanks all! Rep to each. By the way, I am the seller, if that was not clear. It seems now that I should hold out for more - it went to PR3 in just a few months...

After googles recent changes, PR is not quite how it used to be, and PR will drop drastically as the backlinks begin to drop off.

Google already appears to have major issues with sites selling PR, a HostGator sold for more because it's a PR6 could drop down to a PR3 quickly, depends if the buyer is buying for the PR or for the domains worth in general...

This example is one where I built my site's PR myself in the way that Google designed the system - true backlinks from relevant sites (none bought) and traffic that actually is glad it got to my site. There should be no drop off because he's and end user who will continue the site basically as is. We're trying to find an appropriate price. I want to explain PR to him as it relates to what the site should sell for...

Thanks for all your help!..

Actually (real) PR shows up as traffic already, as much as it is going to...
