Got a question... Does anyone have the Nutrisystem Core Food list and Core plan? Hoping for any response. Another question... Previously, I posted that I didn't feel like I'd lost weight, nor did I look like I'd lost weight. Today is weigh-in day, and - I was right. I gained a half pound, and measurements remain the same.

Didn't get my snack in, nor did I have dessert last night. I definitely do not see this as low carb, low sugar, as I'm eating more of both than I've eaten in years.

Because I wasn't doing a good job of planning meals and shopping. Been doing it too long. I will stay with this for the month, as closely as possible, but if I don't see any changes within the month.....

Yep, but... you might wanna make sure and wait for another person to confirm this as I am not confident. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Nutrisystem guys because they can help better...

Nanny, have you spoken to the counselors? Be sure you're following the plan. I had a friend who swore she was following the plan. Come to find out her favorite vegetable was corn. Which is classified as a carb. That was just one example of how she was not following the plan at all. another was when we went out to dinner and she asked for butter and sour cream on her baked potato.


These are just examples, I am sure you are following - but let's take a look at your daily menu and maybe we can help...

Thing that is not in my meal planner. Nuttin'. Haven't been out for any meals...

It works. It sometimes takes some time to get going, but it works..

OMG - deja vu - I felt as if I were reading my own words from my initial posts!! It took me awhile for my body to adjust. I lost a few pounds the first week but the second week the scale kept on going up to almost where I started. I said that same thing that you did - since I had my food, I was going to continue with it for the month and then see if I wanted to stick with the plan but I was certain in my head that this wasn't going to work. What I did is I stopped focusing SO HARD on the DIET and how much I was losing and measuring and counting and weighing myself. I just followed the plan - I knew what I had to eat and didn't worry about it. I figured ANYTHING had to be better than the way I WAS eating! (look at it THAT way!!!) It was very slow, just ounces at a time but the ounces ad up to pounds. So just hang in there!..

When I originally joined Nutrisystem 15 years ago I lost minimal amounts of weight for the first 2 week (maybe 1.25 pounds total for both weeks.) My third week I dropped 10 pounds, Give it some time. It'll work..

Also, if you are on medications it may inhibit your weight loss. I was taking antibiotics for a sinus infection and for a week and a half I either hit my plateau weight or gained. Got off the meds a couple of days ago and I'm dropping again!..

If you gained 1/2 pound, you have simply stayed about the same in your weight this 1st week. Don't panic yet..

What were you eating prior to NS? Do you have medical issues or are you taking medications that may affect your weight/weight loss? Have you asked you Dr about your weight loss plan?.

And why not post what you've been eating this past week so we can take a look. I've seen people come up with great observations that might help...

We don't know how much you have to lose, we don't know your age, we don't know your physical condition, we don't know what program you are on, we don't know what you are eating on a typical day, we don't know if you are on your monthlies, well, we don't know enough to help..

BUT, the Counselors would know most of this from your profile on file at NutriSystem, so it begs the question: Have you called and talked to a Counselor or Dietitian and let them help you with this?.

Just wondering...
