Ye, however you might want to make sure and wait for another member to confirm this as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you email the Nutrisystem guys because they can give you an answer better...
Wow, thank you so much Lynn! I may change out the blueberries for something else. I thought it might be good because it has the dairy/fruit already in the muffins. Plus, you get three!.
I'll play around with this before I go away...
Lynn is the Nutrisystem "Betty Crocker.".
I wish she was my next door neighbor..
I would give her all my food and just sit here waiting on my three meals on wheels or meals on foot. lol.
My brother is a gourmet cook..
I am not. sigh!.
My Dad use to tell me that when I die, he wants someone to place a long handled spoon on my grave because stirring fresh brewed tea was all I knew how to do..
Now, we drink unsweetened tea and I have lost my spoon. wink* wink*.
You gals are so cute..
My dad used to say I'd be buried with a coffee pot in my hand! Lynn sure is amazing. I don't think I'd have lasted on Nutrisystem without her...
Lmao thanks guys but really it's cause I don't like canned foods and had all this Nutrisystem foods that I had to deal with did know what I was getting into when I ordered, so it wasn't a surprise, I didn't order UNTIL I'd seen the old Recipe Board heh heh heh and I DO like to play with my foods and the individual Nutrisystem servings are perfect bases to start with and NOT end up with a dinner for 4 all for me.....
Then I just spent time waiting for the next meal in reading the recipe board and copying stuff into files.... :::chuckle::: you can see just how often I was "waiting" for a meal by the size of the files - but whatever works, no?.
I just tried to open your dinner recipe file but Windows Vista is too busy protecting my computer & won't allowi t to open. lol I was wondering if you had a recipe using the veg. fajitas? I tried them once early on, wasn't crazy about them, but I'm going to revisit them tonight....always try twice. Plus the are a good source of protein & fiber..
I tried to make the brownies using the Nutrisystem chocolate pudding- followed the directions exactly and mine did not rise either. They were actually kind of nasty........... anyone have any ideas?..
Can't help with the.
Tried them once, thought they were ok but not something I'd bother with again, just sauted some onions & bell peppers and the reconstituted Nutrisystem mix & stuffed into a tortilla, so I haven't saved any ideas for them there ARE some ideas on this board and since folks post their suggestions all over the place, you may have to do a search though newmac (Mike) posted an interesting idea for stuffing cabbage leaves with them a couple days ago - maybe that'll help.
As to opening the files - can you save the file to your computer and then open it from your word processing file instead of trying to open it from the Nutrisystem blog page??? I get the option to open or save the file when I click the link... otherwise, e-mail me & I'll kick em off to you....
Also can't help with the Pudding Brownies (remember, I may have "collected" the recipes, but that doesn't mean I've gotten around ito trying them all - lol) think you should have gotten some "rise" with the baking powder, but remember NONE of the stuff you're gonna make from the Nutrisystem stuff will taste like the "real McCoy" - lmao... sorry....
Hey, I know some stuff, but pretty obviously NOT everything - lmao.
Thanks Lynn, I'll try to computer trick! You are right I have seen some recipes, I do a search or just improvise :-)..
