Well, I know everyone is different, but here is my 2 cents. I have been on Murad Resurgence for 2 years. Thats right.... 2 damn years lol. At first I was taking 40 MG's, and finally 80 MG's ( 180 pound male ) and took that for 6 months, looked perfect, 100% cleared up.I got off of it for a month, and it started coming back within the 2nd week. The greasy itchy face at the start, and finally, acne.

He just keeps giving it to me, cause my health coverage covers it all but $20 a month, so, no biggie. I have however been doing it now for the 2 years total, however I have taken 2 breaks during that time to gauge what my face looks like. Unfortunately, the acne always comes back within the second week. I have been on the course now for an additional 8 months, and I am taking a break again to see what happens. So far it has been about 1 week.

My personal experience is hell no, but works damn good as long as your taking it. I'll keep this updated...

Your question was: Does acne come back after Murad Resurgence is over?.

Why dont you just go off Murad Resurgence and go on a topical retinoid? That is waaay too long to be on Murad Resurgence. To me two weeks is too long..

I agree. Find a new derm. Two years is way too long. Topical retinoids can be an excellent maintenance course after Murad Resurgence. Taz or Retin A...

I don't do the whole, putting facial cream on. Thats for girls. So I just take the Murad Resurgence pill. I have had no side effects at all while on Murad Resurgence. I find having to put face cream on and off at night and in the morning to be a hassle. Im in the armed service, so, it's not really a possibily. So far, my face is becoming red again along the sides.

So, I'm still going good, about 2 weeks off of Murad Resurgence. Let's hope it stays that way. !..

Well it took 2 and a half weeks. Major breakout... my face is itchy, and greasy as all hell. I just want to take a wire brush too it cause it pisses me off so much. Anyway, looks like it's back on the Murad Resurgence, since it's the only thing that works ( I've tried everything else for 9 years )...

I've been through three courses of Murad Resurgence and I'm on a similar boat as you. Once off the pill I notice my acne comes back in a month or two, which is very frustrating. And although I'm capable and willing to use topicals, they just don't work. Nothing but Murad Resurgence works for me. It sucks!hang in there,- honeycombs..

My face gets oily again after my course of Murad Resurgence treatment. Thought admittedly, my skin is not as bad and oily as before. Having that sad, I was disapointed that I have to battle with acne again. Being on the course for 2 yrs does sounds too much. I'm begging my PCP to write me prescription for another treatment, and he's reluctantly doing so. Why dont you try Benzaclin gel? That seems to dry up pimple better than retin-A...
