That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can help you..
So far, I have only tried the choc. choc. chip pudding and I eat it with my 1 tsp. rf peanut butter (fat from dinner) and a dollop of fat free cool whip (free food) It's not bad at all. It's very filling and also high in protein which is great too. I think I'll make it into mint choc.
I have this GREAT DESSERT every night....
1 packet of Nutrisystem Chocolate, Chocolate Chip pudding, 4 ounces of skim milk (saved dairy from earlier in the day), 1 packet of splenda and 1-2 tablespoons of fat free cool whip..
Make the pudding as directed (using the milk instead of water), add in one packet of splenda and stir very well (it will thicken after about 40-50 stirs)..
Then top with cool whip. Or, you can mix the cool whip in and it becomes extra rich and filling. I eat it right away, because it doesn't set well in the fridge (like regular pudding)..
It's delicious and I am not cheating at all because the milk is saved from earlier in the day..
I love the pudding. I often make with yogurt instead of water.. if I use the full container, it is like pudding, if I use half it is like brownie mix...
I really like the chocolate pudding... haven't tried the cherry yet!..
Those ideas all sound fantastic - I think I'm going to try the chocolate chip pudding today. I skeptically made the cherry pudding - (using the water, like it says). I put it in the fridge to set up for about an hour. It wasn't too bad, but I had it with some defrosted frozen cherries, which really enhanced the cherry taste..
Keep bringing these terrific ideas! I think the dessert is actually what gets me through the day!.
I used my fat from dinner and added some chopped almonds to the cherry pudding. I loved it...
