Quick question: Do ballerinas have to be on a special Dukan Diet? Looking forward for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I'm making some wings for my family for a bday party on Friday and I'd really love to be able to make some for my DD and me to eat!!! I'm thinking I would use chicken breasts or tenders and bake them..but I'd really love some great seasoning ideas...also maybe a recipe for blue cheese dressing for it...guess I could use Waldon Farms and maybe add some blu cheese crumbles to it?.

Would love some ideas!!! Thanks!..

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably know..

Here's a recipe for my hot sauce for wings:.

1/2 c. hot sauce.

2 Tbsp. honey.

1 Tbsp. ICBINB.

3 fresh garlic gloves, minced.

1 Tbsp. of ketchup.

I usually let it sit awhile so the garlic flavor kicks in. I use it on chicken tenders/boneless breasts...

I used to eat those Heroin Wings all the time when I low-carbed. They were usually my potluck dish of choice, too (that or deviled eggs). They're not at all like Buffalo wings, though, which I'm guessing is what's wanted here (not to mention that they're not NS-friendly because of the extremely high fat content)..

Get some Frank's Red Hot sauce for your chicken. It's fantastic for wings (and to spice up other stuff, too)...

Could you not lightly bread some chicken strips, spray them with Pam, and bake them..

The recipe I use came from Buffalo, NY. It uses 1 bottle of Louisiana hot sauce, 1 TBSP (or more depending on your taste) of prepared horseradish. This also calls for 1 stick of melted butter. I've made it without though and they are still great. You just mix the sauce and horseradish together, put it in the microwave to warm, pour a little on your "wings" and toss...

I was also looking into buffalo wings because I had a delicious buffalo chicken bleu cheese chickecn wrap with a yummy tomato basil wrap, but I've got to make the ingredients Dukan Diet friendly first. I found McCormick hickory BBQ Wings spice packet in the grocery store, and I'm going to try that. It's 25 cals per serving and the instructions say to cook it with 2 lbs chicken wings - for a total of six servings. However, if you cook it to instructions (no added ingredients called for) you wold get 16 - 2 oz protein servings, and the net calroies from the sauce would be 9 cals per 2 oz chicken serving (total stats: 102 cals, with about 1 g carbs from the sauce mix and the rest is protein from chicken breast). I of course would not use the wings, but go with lean meat instead..

But maybe that would be a more Dukan Diet friendly option for hot wings..... If I'm ever successful with my chicken wrap attempts, I'll be sure to share my recipe!..

Just so happens that I made buffalo chicken wraps for lunch today. I used 2 La Tortilla Factory tortillas (the 50 cal ones). I used 3 oz. of pre-cooked grilled chicken breast strips - place them in a container and add a Tbsp of Frank's Buffalo Wing sauce & shake to coat. I heated the coated chicken in the microwave until hot. Place a few pieces of leaf lettuce on the wraps, divide the chicken between the 2 wraps, sprinkl w/ about 1/8c.

Satisfied my craving for buffalo chicken and met the Dukan Diet guidelines for my lunch including the added protein...

It was wonderful and very filling - 2 whole wraps! The calorie total based on my calulation is 245 cals - I counted this as my lunch plus protein and still added a plum on the side in place of my salad serving.

..

Enjoy!..
