First question I have is Can you maintain a healthy body weight on a vegan Dukan Diet? Thanks in advance for any answer. Another question on my mind: Last night I had the BEST fruit (I saw the recipe in Good Housekeeping), I wouldn't do it all the time because I don't like to add too much to my fruit servings but it was PERFECT for when I am craving an extra desert..

1 banana.

1 1/2 tsp Splenda brown sugar.

Less than 1 tsp margarine.

Pinch of cinnamon.

Leave the banana in the peel and cut a slit down the length (leaving a bit on each end so that it stays together). Fill this with the above mixture. Broil for 5 minutes with the rack on the highest setting until the banana browns..

My fiancee and I split this (1/2 banana each) and it was delicious!..

You betcha! however you might want to make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm my answer as I am not quite sure. Better yet, why don't you email the Dukan Diet guys because they can answer you better...

That does sound good and since you have someone to split it with it's only 1 fruit serving. Good idea..

By the way, congratulations on reaching your goal and good luck maintaining...

This was so delish!!!!.

Last night I dropped my nutrachocolates on top while it was still hot and ate it when they melted-yummo!..

Wow, that sounds really good! I didn't think about that. It really seems like a HUGE cheat!..

Sounds good! Do you think ICBINB spray could be substituted?..

Marci~Tonight I tried it with ICBINB spray and it was great!..

The serving size for ICINTB is 5 sprays. It's not really calorie free. The bottle as a whole has a lot of calories...

I think the spray is a really good idea because you could coat it with five sprays. It would give the flavor and help the brown sugar melt without it being too much, I am going to try that next time...

Oh My,.

Thanks for the recipe..

This is so good and I love my bananas...

Lynn-Thanks for reporting that it was great w/the ICBINB Spray...the next writer mentioned the calories in the spray which I am aware of(but thanks for mentioning that for the newbies!!) but still thought it would be less than the margerine and the original writer mentioned not usually liking to add anything to her fruit servingsI was like that too when I was in the losing phase....as I.

NEEDED.

To eat as much as possible.

SEPARATELY.

!...to feel full physically and psychologically!so I was constantly looking for substitutes allowing for more food other ways.....

Thanks again for a great/easy recipe suggestion!..

I have several bananas staring at me right now .... what a great idea !..

JennaNM922 that was a great recipe, oh my goodness it was delicious. I love bananas and this was excellent! I have a question, I saw Marci asked about the ICBINB spray - what is that?.

Kelly..

FYI: 12 sprays of ICBINB spray is 10 calories, so 6 would make 5 calories...

Hi Kelly, Its "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray"I use it a lot. That banana recipe sounds good, may have to try it...

This sounds really good, I will definatly be trying it...

I'm going to make that too...we already make baked apples by coring them and putting a tiny bit of raisins and a fat serving's worth of walnuts in the hole, with the same brown sugar Splendawe even cook those in the microwave, whenever the apples are getting old and mealy. Fixes them right up...

I'm making this for my b'fast fruit! Thanks for the idea...

Just made this...very good. but I learned how important it is to not stray to far away from the broiler! the burnt top reminded me of charred marshmallows...

OH MY I had this at a B&B one time in Arizona. It was a fully leaded version of this! LOL But thank you for posting this gem. Another addition that the B&B used was a bit of whipped cream to it... FF CoolWhip would foot the bill here and call it a free food for the day(the coolwhip, not the banana)..

I know what I'm having for my fruit serving for breakfast tomorrow!!..

Is this really cheating though? It seems within guidlines if you eat 1/2...or am I mising something?..

It's definitely within the guidelines as long as you use free food amounts and it is SO good, I definitely feel like I am cheating!! The other night I just cut up a 1/2 of a banana and put it in a little pyrex bowl and in the toaster over broiler, that works too and isn't so messy...

Some chocolate syrup drizzled on would be good too..

Thanks for the recipe - it sure sounds good!!.

I love bananas - I hate only eating 1/2 for a fruit...

If you can find the "baby" bananas you can eat a whole one -..
