Quick question: Can you drink green tea if you are on the ATKINS Dukan Diet? Thanks for any response. Second question of mine... I know there are some super stuffed bell pepper recipes on this board, but this one I used the Hamburger Patty. My DH is also on NS, so this recipe is for 2 people, but the picture is for my serving only. It makes a LOT of food.

Stuffed Bell Peppers.



1/2 onion chopped.

1 clove garlic minced.


1 can diced tomatoes (w/juice).

2 T. taco seasoning.

3 T Chopped Cilantro.

When the mixture is heated thru, add 2 rehydrated hamburger patties (crumbled)..

After it's heated thru, add a little FF cheddar cheese..

Fill halves of bell peppers with mixture (I like red/yellow or orange peppers)..

Bake for approx 1 hour or until peppers are tender. Top with a bit more FF cheese and bake until melted..

This made a total of 6 bell pepper halves!.

Don't be afraid to use the hamburger patties as you would for any ground beef dish!..

You betcha! although you might want to make sure and wait for another person to confirm it as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you email the Dukan Diet guys because they can answer you better...

Oh that looks really good - may have to try these with some Boca Crumbles or MSF Crumbles since right now I don't have any Dukan Diet burgers (next order has LOTS)..

Those peppers look really delicious. So many Dukan Diet entrees can be stuffed into them, but I love the idea of the burger and taco seasoning. What did you eat for a carb to replace the burger bun? This is definitly a meal I will try. Thank you for posting!..

Don't tell anyone, but I didn't eat my carb.


I would probably add some black beans next time....or perhaps kidney beans?.

It was such a large helping, I couldn't have eaten a carb if it were a free food!..

These stuffed peppers look fantastic! I love "huge" servings because when it's too much to eat now, it becomes a "free" snack for sudden hunger attacks. If you really wanted a carb, you could crumb up a legal slice of bread and add as a filler...well MORE filler...these peppers already look really STUFFED! Thanks so much for sharing!!..
