First off, Can you eat bread when on the Nutrisystem diet? Many thanks for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I see on QVC has Nutrisystem with weekends off. Has anyone tried that? Have you had success? What are some things do you eat on weekends and still have success?.

Thanks for any input!..

Yep, although you might wanna make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm it as I am not quite sure. Better yet, why don't you email the Nutrisystem guys because they can give you help better...

My thoughts are that you should do the regular plan, 28 days, for a couple of months and then you can spread out your shipment and do your own version ofNutrisystemw/weekends off. You can delay future shipments to allow you to use up the extra food..

This will get you on the plan and familiar with theNutrisystemprinciples. Your body will get used to the foods and you will have an idea on how much weight you can lose by being 100% NS..

Then, when you start to flex, you won't be as likely to go hog wild on your days off. More conscious of portion control...

I have only been onNutrisystema couple of weeks. I bought my plan through QVC with AutoDelivery. I am going to cancel that though because I miss youNutrisystemfoods on my days off. I was able to maintain on my "weekend" but that is not what I am here for...

I originally used the QVC's Weekends Off plan.Nutrisystemhas a different program for every vendor. I did well on the program. I switched to the Costco program which has 35 days of meals and use it to flex. As a result, I have a choice of foods and the flexibility of flexing with it which is the same as the Weekends Off. The Costco plan lasts me two months with flexing.

It does not give you the freedom to eat whatever you want. I sometimes will flex an entire day and sometimes it is just a meal...

I currently use the QVC Weekends off plan and I used it a few years ago as well. I went with QVC because price was a huge issue for me!..

How do you find the flex plan program? Have been onNutrisystemsince 1/1/11 and have only lost 6 #'s. Have not veered one iota. Exercise walk every day for 40 min-1 1/4 miles. This is more food than I normally eat. I do like the food, tho I am disappointed that I haven't lost. I had expected to lose 20 by April 24.

Have talked to counselor and checked everything...

Thanks for all your suggestions!.

I am just curious how people felt if they have used QVC with any success..

I also noticed I have a "typo" in my thread starter. Guess the coffee hadn't hit yet...

I like the flex plan as it does what it is intended which is to give you flexibility in food choices that still meet theNutrisystemguidelines. I love tilapia, for example, so I eat it at least once a week. Prepared correctly, it meets the guidelines. I'd be frustrated also if I were new and had lost only six pounds in all that time. At the same time, I don't know how much weight you have to lose. People with a smaller amount to lose usually lose more slowly.

Try switching your meals around and exchanging hard protein as in meats for the dairy/protein. Morningstar veggie burgers...read the stats...can work. Just make sure you get the ones that meet the stats as some, although healthy, are too high for a protein add in for a snack...

What exactly should we be looking for in "the stats"? Should we be mostly concerned with calories? Fiber? Sugar? Carbs? Say I were to go to the market to purchase some bread... In the past I have looked for high fiber, low calorie... What should I be looking for on thisNutrisystemprogram?..
