Yes sir! although you might wanna make sure and wait for another member here to confirm it as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Nutrisystem guys because they can help better...
I had the eggs the other morning for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were... and I didn't add anything to them but pepper!!! Will have to try adding something to them the next time!!!..
The first step is to get over the whole powdered eggs issue. Once you do that the key to the eggs is to cook in the fry pan and not the microwave. I sauteed mushrooms, onions and added a little hot sauce. HUGE serving and pretty good too!..
I love the eggs too and I add less than a tbs of Hormel 50% less fat real bacon pieces. They have 25 calories so I use it as a free food .... Yummy..
Nice!!! I've got a couple more ways to prepare them! Thanks everyone!..
LOVE the eggs! I added minced onions & jalapenos ( about a tsp each). It gave them a little zest. Rolled it up in a wheat tortilla & voila a breakfast burrito. A little fat free cheese can also add a good finishing touch! For a little more flavor, Tabasco sauce is calorie free. The MILD green jalapeno is my favorite (many people think the green one would be hot - not at all true)...
I mix in frozen bell pepper strips (freezer section at store with other frozen veggies) and top it with lowfat parmesan cheese. Yummy. I love the eggs because the high protein and low carbs keep me full for hours. The other entrees leave me wanting more...
Ever try mixing the eggs with some of those frozen veggie blends.. you know, the kind with little diced of carrots, bits of corn and lima beans? I sometimes use a couple spoons of it (cooked in the microwave) with the eggs and eat it with, yes, ketchup. I can't live without good ol' ketchup. It makes everything taste better..
Well all I know about the eggs is I had them yesterday am- wasnt too thrilled w/ them... but then again I microvaved them.
You all gave me some good ideas to pepper them up-.
