Your question was: Can I use Drupal with Godaddy domain name for ecommerce?.
I had a chance to get iResearched.com. Can't believe I didn't make it to the auction before it ended. Felt like I passed up a great one. Oh and I could have got it for like 20 bucks....
I like these types of domains, but ive only got two of em:.
IVenting.com (also a typo of Inventing.com..
I have iHYPERSTORE.com , iHYPERSTORES.com and iMEGASHOPS.com (last 2 are on eBay with $199 BIN+offer).
Sold iHypermarket.com in a package with eHypermarket.com about a year ago on SEDO ... the negotiations were for eHypermarket and were drying up after an offer from the buyer for $1000 (I was at $1800 going downwards) ... I suggested both the e and the I for $1999 and the buyer accepted.
I think some idomains can be quite valuable since there is quite a "push" is familiarity due to iPod/iPhone ... however , I think edomains and in some cases e-domains are better ... but , in general , it depends on the name.
IReport might seem pretty good with the I (especially in HostGator cycles).
Email might look better with the e.
But , e-commerce might look better to some with the e-..
I had more than one, some dropped, some sold.
Now I have only : iMP3.org..
I got www.iPersonalLoan.com.
How much do you think it is worth? I am thinking of xxxx-xxxxx range...
Some good names I like the I geo domain, I think people can easily brand and the user remember the domain...
Regged Iarchitecture.org it dropped no one picke up.
Iphilosophy.net and Iswimsuitmodel.com.
Got $200 offer on Ibaseball.org..
Itechnologys.com (yes, I know it is not the correct spelling, but a company might like it)...
IShutter.com on Auction at SEDO $400 bid (Not Mine)..
I have iAUV.com [AUV == Autonomous Underwater Vehicles/Action Utility Vehicles].
But yeah AUV is no keyword..
Make perfect sense to me to each their own. I was surprised Schilling loves them. www.ifrance.com pretty sweet.
DMOZ: 1,547 listings.
Y! Directory: 115 listings.
Alexa Trend/Rank: #1,412 150 ranks over the last three months.
Compete Rank: #6,031 with 314,144 U.S. visitors per month.
Quantcast Rank: #5,316.
Wikipedia: Listed on 1,433 pages..
How, any example you would like to share ?
I think it works great with geos and I am not alone as they are hard to come by..
Mine is ialberta dot ca (Alberta being a wealthy Canadian province)...also iStoreTV dot com.
I was going to say no company would ever use a spelling error in their HostGator like iTechnologys but then remembered my .ca registrar is called SiberName Still think that one is a long shot though...
Thought I did www.ifrance.com.
Along with the fact that just about every country in the world is taken in I .com/.net/.org. And the fact that Frank Schilling loves them is good enough for me. But again to each their own...
Nice Jake www.Itexas.com is developed although not really what you would think it's not about Texas but lead generation...
Though "i" sold most of my "i" names. "i" still have a few:.
I'm a bit more fond of the "e" than the "i"...
I've sold several "i" names. Still have theses:.
IPhaqs.com ( This was going to be a FAQs site for iphone ) www.iphaqs.com.
I have a few on my hit list.
So how long do these 'i' names have before looking like an outdated early 21st century trend? I give em 5 years...
I guess your calling for the internet to decease in 5 years then?..
IBangkok.comGot a $1,000 offer but I declined..
I only have 3.
There is mention about the "i" geo's.....
I used to use @penticton.com for my work email,.
And now I use @ipenticton.com.
Their both still owned by the same company,.
But I think the chamber was/is leasing them...
